Hi, I'm Lizzy. I'm 16 years old and dating the love of my life, Nathan Sykes. People always say "oh you're wrong. You're so young. He's not your true love, you're just 16!" Well they are wrong. Nathan is the perfect one for me. Ever since we were children we have been dating! Ever since I was 7 years old with our dumb love. Well, it turned into something so serious that I enjoy. I am currently touring with Nathan and his band mates, which I normally do since I am a singer also. We like to have fun and crack jokes and just party it up. The tour life is boss. Nathan gets jealous sometimes because I live with a guy foreign exchange student, Ben Hemmings. Him and I are really close, and his brother and I are even closer. Ever since his brother, Luke came up to visit one summer him and I haven't missed one day without talking to each other. I guess you could call him my best friend. I'm kind of a short girl, no one would know I'm 16. I am 5'2, have blonde hair, and blue eyes. I play 5 sports when I can, which I don't have that much free time. The sports I play are cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, softball, and lacrosse. I try to stay active as much as I can, when I can. I moved to Gloucester when I was 6 years old, originally from New York, USA. 2 years ago my dad died in a car accident. He took too much of his pain medicine which caused him to get high and he got into a head on collision and died, just like that. It's kind of sad seeing your loved ones drop like flies around you. My brother was 16 when he committed suicide. He killed himself a year after my dad died. No one really knew why he did, except me because I was the only one who ever paid attention to my brother. After my dad died he couldn't take it because I was gone on tour all the time and he couldn't reach me the majority of the time and my dad was always the light at the end of the tunnel for him and when he passed, that light went out. Steven fell into a deep depression and made him go insane. So pretty much all I have left are my sisters, my mom, Nathan, and his band mates.

Lizzy's POV

So, recently Nathan has been gone a lot because he is recording a new song called 'Almost Is Never Enough' with Ariana Grande. I'm not really a big fan of her... She is the player type person. (A/N: I love Ariana, I just am making the book better by saying this) so I think she isn't really a good girl. Nathan hasn't been coming home until 11:00 in the night which scares me quiet a bit. Like what takes so long in the studio that you have to stay from 6:00-11:00 for 2 weeks now. I think he is shooting the music video now, I don't really know. He doesn't talk to me much anymore. Maybe I could bring him in something for lunch right now. He's probably really hungry. I got dressed and brushed my teeth. I wore a flows tank that says "Fall Out Boy" on it with high waisted shorts and turquoise vans. I quickly ran down the stairs and started making Nathan a lunch. I started making him a ham and cheese sandwich and grabbed some Doritos. I grabbed a coca cola out of the fridge and got in my car. I drove to the studio, really happy that I was going to be a good girlfriend and surprise him. "Hi. I'm Lizzy Giamartino, I'm looking for the studio with Nathan Sykes&Ariana Grande" I said politely. I secretly cringed and Ariana's name though. "Ahh yes. They are in studio two all the way at the end of the hall on your left." "Thank you!" I picked up Nathan's food and walked to the door. As I got closer I could hear giggling and screaming. Which made me nervous. I opened the door to see a sight I never would want to see. Nathan and Ariana doing things. Nathan quickly turned around and gasped. I dropped his lunch on the ground causing the soda to burst open. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. "WAIT LIZZY!" I heard Nathan chasing after me. "SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE." I didn't want to break up with him but I know it was the best thing to do. I thought as I hopped in my car. The first thing I wanted to do was call Luke and just cry to him. My thoughts got cut off by my phone ringing. I looked at the color ID and didn't recognize the number so I answered anyways.

Unknown: Hi, this is Dr. Roberts calling from the hospital is this Miss Giamartino?

Me: Yes it is.

Hospital: we are calling regarding your mother. She has gotten in a severe accident and I would like you to come up here, because she might not make it through the night.

I had a whole waterfall down my cheeks right now.

Me: okay. I'll be there shortly. Thank you.

I managed to choke my words out. My mom is in the hospital...

I walked into my moms hospital room and collapsed at her side. "Oh mom." I sobbed. "Sweetheart." Her voice was so shaky, so weak. "I want you to know that Nathan is not the one. He won't be there for you no matter what. And you need someone who will. I want you to know that I am so proud of you for who you have become and who you are today. Stay strong Lizzy. I- I- I love- you" her voice got weaker by every word she said. "No mom. Don't leave me. I NEED YOU. I love you." I sobbed. That was it her monitor was a flat line. She coded. She was dead. "Time of death, 15:34" the nurse called. Which made me cry even more. I couldn't be in that room anymore. I left. I went home. And stayed there. Then I got anther call. Nathan. Great.

Me: what do you want?

Nathan: Lizzy. I'm sorry.

Me: okay.

Nathan: please.

Me: my mom just died Nathan. And I had to see you with some smut.

Nathan: that's why I called. We can't be together. I know this is a lot on you right now because of everything but Lizzy I'm breaking up with you.

Me: Okay...

I weakly choked out. I cried and cried and cried louder each time. Then someone walked in my room. "Why are you crying?" My sisters said to me. "Nathan broke up with me and mom died. I'm upset." I said. "Well, we kind of don't want to see you again... Sooo you can keep the house and yeah! Bye." That was it. I have no one. No one but myself. I was officially, broken.
