Are you proud of me yet?

Nar woke up with a groan, "Ah jeez, talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed..."

She looked around for a moment and then realized she was tied up, "or maybe waking up on no bed at all."

Nar scanned her surroundings more, she could tell she was in the sewers, which part? She doesn't know.

No one was here with her, or so it seemed to her, it was too dark and early to know.

"Wait, what even is the time?" She mumbled, she could check her watch, but then again, she was in her PJs and tied up.

"Uhhh, about 8am or something." A girl's voice answered.

An audible kick and yelp of pain could be heard, then a British accent voice scolded, "Did you just replied to her?"

"Yes, what else should we do? Stare at her like creeps? We already, quotation marks, 'mailed the letter' to them." The first voice answered back.

"I can hear you, smartasses..." Nar yelled at the direction the voice came from.

Silence.

"Do you think she heard us?" The first voice asked.

"I will push you into the water and drown you." The second voice replied.

Nar let out a laugh, she had the feeling she was suppose to be scared but her kidnappers wasn't making it any frightening.

More silence.

"Your face could light the sewers, Nick~" The first voice teased, then she yelped again. Nar figured the Brit-dude, or Nick, probably kicked her again.

This time, Nar's kidnappers smartened up and started whispering instead of shouting. Nar could hear the whispers but she couldn't make out the words. Something along the lines of, "will this work?" and "will they come?"

Nar took this chance to search for a way to get herself free from the tight rope, her arms were tied up so her hands were more or less free. She struggled to place her hands behind her back to check if the knot was there.

Sure enough, it was, she began to try and untie the knot. She could tell whoever tied the knot was good, but not good enough.

As Ice and Nick bickered, Nar slowly began untying the rope knots.

"I'm telling you, Ice, using old macaroni from a trash bin to make a ransom letter isn't gonna work!" Nick argued.

Ice was offended and argued back, "Sure it would! It stayed on the paper just nicely!"

"Bloody hell, Ice, it could FALL off!" Nick kept his voice low but you could still hear the anger.

"Pfft, British accent ain't working for ya." Ice snickered, Nick groaned.

"Remind me why we're friends again, Ice?"

Ice folded her arms, "Well it's because-"

The girl was interrupted by a strong kick and was pushed into the sewer waters, which had a current going on and prevented Ice from coming back onto land, she screamed but it quickly faded as the waters pushed her further away. Hopefully she lived.

"What the-" Nick's reflexes didn't seem to be working at that moment, Nar quickly pinned him to the ground.

"Hey, I know you. Not really, actually, your face is everywhere though. But you look better in person." Nar tilted her head and looked at Nick, he couldn't get Nar off him, she secured him on the ground perfectly.
