"Your mother is really pretty." Nar pointed at her laptop screen. Nick had been folding paper while Nar researched, occasionally looking over to see what she was doing. He leaned over to look at the screen, dropping his incomplete boat origami.

There was a woman, with a very delicate structure, her soft brown hair fell behind her shoulders and she had a very gentle look. Nar stared at her, then at Nick. They had the same pretty grey-green eyes.

"That's...my mom?" Nick whispered under his breath, he touched the screen gingerly and smiled softly to himself. He really did feel like he had seen her before.

"Says here she's been looking all over for you, but this article is pretty old. I'm not sure if she've given up yet." Nar said. Nick's hand dropped, resting it on the keyboard. He pursed his lips.

"I have to go look for her." Nick replied. "It's the only way we can find out who I was."

Nar frowned, shutting her laptop. "Are you sure? We could just keep looking on the internet."

"Please." He stared pleadingly into Nar's dark brown eyes. He really liked her eyes. She exhaled slowly, nodding.

"Sure Brit-boy." Nar opened up her laptop again. "I'll look for an address or phone number or something."

Nick squeezed Nar's shoulder as a thank you, he could have sworn he saw her face grow flustered, but he didn't bother to double check. He really liked her face though.

He felt bad for not helping, but he couldn't really do anything either. Slowly, he felt his eyelids shut on their own. The last thing he saw was Nar pushing her hair back behind her ears. He really liked her hair, did she always had piercings?

"Nick, look what I got you!" A woman hummed. She looked familiar. He reached his hands out and took the gift in her hands. He pushed the scarf around his neck a little so he could see the gift clearer.

His short and thin fingers ran across the lid before removing it. In the box was a knife, which wasn't highly suggested as a present for kids, the blade had a small imprinting on it. The handle was navy blue.

Nick lifted the sharp object closer to his face, he read the imprinted words. "To my special child."

"Where did you get this?" He asked, his voice slightly muffled behind the scarf. He was way too use to having his mouth be covered by fabric.

"It was mine, I'm giving it to you." His mother smiled, you could see a bit of her perfect white teeth behind those cherry lips.

Nick's face didn't change in expression. He kept staring at the knife. It was his now. It's his treasure.

Nick woke up to Nar shaking him, her hazel hair dropped on his face, tickling him a little. He sat up slowly and she moved away.

"I found the address." Nar declared proudly. Nick nodded.

His dream. What was it again? Something about knives.

"Wanna go now?" Nar bounced energetically. He held a hand up and stared at the foot of her bed for a minute

"I need to find something. Do you still have my old clothes? The ones that I wore when I first...met you?" Nick asked.

"I'm not sure, I think they're still here. Why?" Nar answered, Nick got off her bed and walked to the door.

"I need to get something important."
