"So, wanna head out?" Nar was casually mixing her cereal with her spoon, playing with her food.

Nick was munching on a sandwich and looked up from his phone. "To?"

"Random places. Adventure." Nar jazzed her hands, some of the milk spilt out of the bowl when she had quickly pulled her spoon out of it.

"You do know that I avoid heading out because of my current status right?" Nick deadpanned.

She began to twirl her spoon between her fingers, flicking milk off the silverware, she hummed to herself and said. "Well, I'll make sure no one spots you. If they accuse you of anything I'll defend you!"

"Who's the bodyguard here again?" Nick joked, wiping some droplets of milk off his face.

"Nick, you're my friend. I'd really protect you." Nar stopped twirling her spoon and stared at Nick with a serious look. The boy felt his face heat up at the intense staring from Nar and quickly looked away. The girl playfully grinned and ate her cereal, almost too quickly.

Once they got ready to head out, Nick reluctantly followed Nar and left home to go on some adventure. Most likely at the mall. They both talked as they strolled down the path, Nick had his jacket sleeves pulled up to the elbow area and had his hands dug into his jeans' pockets. His hood covered most of his face and his mask hid away his mouth and nose, so you could barely recognize him on the streets.

The only way people could tell that he was the wanted criminal was when they actually see him doing crime. He's usually described as "Boy in a black hoodie jacket, covers face with mask, must be doing a crime in order to report him in." But even then he couldn't just randomly walk around, people might actually recognize him.

Nar had a tank top and ripped jeans on, her brunette hair was braided and her shoes looked like they had gone through a paint ball fight. She energetically walked and skipped at the same time while Nick walked at a fast pace to catch up to her.

The two stopped at a mall, as Nick had suspected, and walked right in. The air conditioning was so cooling it made Nick grin, but he had the urge to run away and hide. Unfortunately, Nar's hand was firmly grasped on his forearm, so there was no escape.

The girl skimmed through all the clothing stores and basically ignored most of the cosmetic stores too, not what Nick had expected to be honest, she stopped in front of an arcade and flashed Nick a playful smile.

The criminal boy felt like this day was about to get tiring.

OoO

"Jesus Christ, Nar, I need a breather." Nick leaned against the wall and slid down, sitting onto the floor. Nar was also panting hard, but she kept a bright smile to hide the fact that she was exhausted.

"But we still have to settle our tie!" Nar pouted, though it came out like she had no oxygen in her lungs left.

Nick held a hand up and shook his head, he pulled his mask down so he could take in more air. "You're gonna kill me."

"Maybe that's what I want to do." Nar winked, Nick shot her a look which only made her laugh. Or maybe wheeze, she couldn't really breathe at this point.

They both left the arcade with a few prizes, Nar had a stuffed bear while Nick had a keychain with a black cat attached. They donated some of their arcade tickets to some random kids before leaving because Nar said she already had enough stuff toys and that Nick was too "edgy" for any of the prizes.

After walking very far away from the arcade, Nick pulled out a small gaming console from the inside of his jacket. Nar's jaw dropped. "Nick what the actual hell?"

"What? I felt like taking it." Nick tossed the box into the air before catching it. "What're gonna do? Turn me in?"

"Of course not." Nar shook her head. "But you didn't have to take it, we could have afforded with our tickets."

"Nah, stealing is more...entertaining." Nick slid the box back into his jacket, it was hard to tell that he had the box in his gradient colored jacket but if you stared hard enough, you'd take notice of a few odd bumps on his jacket.

Nar rolled her eyes and pulled Nick over to an ice cream parlor to get something cold to eat. Nick got strawberry while Nar got chocolate, though the boy didn't appreciated Nar making fun of his choice of flavor. He didn't care if strawberry was a sissy flavor.

They both walked out of the mall and sat down on a bench to eat their ice cream in peace, even though it was kinda noisy outside with the cars driving around and people talking loudly, the two just stared off into the distance while they ate in silence.

"This really feels like a date." Nar blurted, which made Nick choke on his ice cream cone.

"You're the one who asked me out." Nick shot, only to realize that sentence sounded even more like he was on a date with Nar, he quickly looked away to have a mental breakdown.

"Pfft, I guess so. This means I'm the dominant one in this relationship!" Nar cheered, Nick punched her shoulder lightly, letting her know that he wanted to drop the subject right then and there.

Nar giggled and continued eating her ice cream, now munching on the cone, "Funny how we first met was down in the sewers and I had you pinned to the ground."

"Don't forget I kidnapped you." Nick added quietly.

"Yeah that, now we're buddy buddy eating ice cream outside a mall. It's pretty strange."

Nick shrugged and pulled his mask back up when he finished his cone. "If you were a snobby rich girl, you'd probably be dead right now."

"Luckily I'm not." Nar winked and boop his nose, making Nick blush lightly.

"Well, let's head back, it's getting late and I'm getting bored." She hopped off the bench and grabbed onto Nick's arm. "Let's go."

"Alright then." He bluntly ignored the fact that Nar was holding onto him like a clingy girlfriend, he started walking towards the way they had came from, which was home.

They walked in silence, unlike this morning, the sky was starting to get a little orangey-yellow, meaning that it's probably gonna be evening soon. Nar stared at the sky's changing color, admiring the beautiful view. She took a deep breath and leaned onto Nick, he could honestly feel the blood rushing in faster than a broken beaver dam, but he chose to ignore it.

Nar opened her mouth to say something, but she didn't, so she closed it. After a few minutes, she opened it again, but no sound came out. She kept repeating this action until Nick noticed it.

"What's up?" Nick shook her slightly with his arm that she was clinging onto.

"Nothing it's just-" Nar's words were cut short when she heard someone running towards them from behind. Upon instinct, she got into a defensive stance and turned around, only to see a familiar blue haired girl in really dirty clothes.

As if the girl had gone through a shower in sewer waters.

"Ice?" Nick mumbled.
