Busy! Levi x Reader (♔)

(F/N)'s Pov

I looked at the thick stack of paperwork that was in my hands and sighed. The corporal's gonna be so mad when he sees this, I can't believe hanji decided to make me pass this enormous stack to the seemingly stressed out and annoyed captain.

I ran my fingers through the edges of the pile and made my way over to his office, taking small steps so I could prolong my inevitable fate.

The huge door before me seemed to be looming over me. I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

"Name and business" said a monotonous voice from the other side

"(F/N) and I'm here to pass you some paperwork" I said, hoping I sounded normal

I heard a clear groan erupt from the other side of the room

"Come in"

I opened the door and walked in, eyes landing on the captain who was still invested in his paperwork. His table filled with several piles of administrative reports. I looked around, his room was unbelievably clean, perhaps even spotless. But it was nothing out of the normal, he was known for being the clean freak he is. I walked over to his table and placed the pile of papers on the table, not before sneaking a look at his features. His hands were propped against his head, his face frowning and laced with stress and annoyance. But I had to admit, he still looked dashing as hell. Once the stack was on his table, he turned to look at it.

"That shitty-glasses, she could fill this up by herself" he said, obviously annoyed

I let out another sigh before saluting him, requesting for permission to leave. I took yet another look at him, his annoyance now even more prominent and clear through the usual stoic face that he was making. He was never known as a man of warmth and care, to be exact, he was the opposite. A man known for his brutality and strength in battle, a man known for his foul mouth and rough demeanor. Despite knowing that, deep down I still admired him, more than anyone else. But still I hoped to leave the room as quick as possible as the tension in the air was beginning to grow and I definitely did not want to be caught in a state where he was angry or annoyed.

"Actually cadet..." his voice snapping me back to reality, I glanced up at him once again. "It would be of help to me if you stayed and helped me with the paperwork. Who knows what goddamn time I'll be done with this."

Slightly taken aback by his sudden request, I had no other choice but to agree. I moved forward to his table and took the stack of papers I've placed down not long ago, swiftly, I also grabbed a pen then was in his pen holder and made my way to the couch. Landing on it with a soft plop before sinking into the soft confinements of the couch. Scanning through the contents, seeing that most of these you were certain even you could fill.

Damn hanji has seriously been overworking Levi, now I see why he's always so angry with her.

The tension in the room was unbearable at first, however after awhile, I seem to have adjusted myself to his presence and vice versa. Eventually I was all comfortable and cozy on the couch, one thing that didn't change though, was that I was constantly stealing glances at the corporal.

I smiled at the thought of Hanji always running away from Levi. I looked back at the captain, his stoic face still so focused on his paperwork, once in awhile a small frown would creep up to his face. I run the pen on the paper and began to fill up the papers. The faint scent of tea and lavender in the room lingered and after awhile, I got tired from filling in all the paper work. Without knowing, I felt your eyelids began to close, before I knew it, I was lost into the realm of sleep.

Levi's Pov

My eyes were glued onto the contents of my paperwork, scanning through each and every demand before signing. Damn...going through these all day could eventually kill me.

I heard the drop of a pen onto the cold marble floor as it caught my attention. I turned up to look at (f/n), it seems she had fallen asleep. Her eyes were closed and her hand rested against her cheeks, her mouth was slightly ajar and taking in slow and small breaths. Looking at the sight before me, I took a deep breath and walked over to the sleeping figure.

"(f/n), if you're tired you can retire to your room now" I said, lightly tapping her shoulder

She didn't really respond, just a small stir was all I got. I called her a few more times but to no avail, i sighed and stood there for a few moments. As silence began to engulf the room, I noticed that (f/n) was indeed stunning, not just appearance wise, but in her combat and cognitive abilities. She was indeed a valuable asset to the survey corps, despite that I knew that what I was feeling for her was much more than that. I bent down and picked up that pen that had dropped earlier on and placed it on the armrest of the couch.

As my fingers lightly brushed through her (h/l)(h/c) hair, she stirred once again.

"C-captain..L-Levi..." These words caught my attention, I immediately bent down and faced her at face level, watching her sleep through it as if it was nothing.

"(F/N)..." I asked one more time, seeing that she was still fast asleep. I lifted her off the couch bridal style and made my way to her room, hoping that no one catches us in the process.

(F/n)'s pov

As I opened my eyes and took in the view around me, I realized that I was in my room. I tried to recall what had happened the day before but nothing seemed to click. Turning to my desk, I realized that there was a small note on it. I picked up the little note and wondered who it's from.

Dear (F/N), please report to my office to help me with my paperwork again

Reality began to sink it as I remembered what had happened the previous day and probably how I had ended up in my own room. I blushed at the countless of possibilities of what could have taken place. I washed up and got ready as I made my way to the corporal's office.

This is going to be a long day....
