She screamed when Clary had suddenly bursted into the room, Heosphoros in hand. She looked murderous. Her eyes went nfrom Alec to Jace, then Alec again. She had gone very pale. "Alec,"Clary started,"where the hell did you get that?" Clary stared unbelieving at Jace holding the, now kicking while, screaming baby. Jace had started to bounce with the child again, deliberately not looking at Clary. "She's a girl actually, not an it", he said, after a minute of awkward silence. Alec heard Clary sigh. All he could do was suppress his smile.
