"EEEHHHHHHHH!?" was seemingly the only thing to be heard by Haru for a few moments.
"Yes, that happened. Now stop screaming, you'll attract attention," the blue-eyed male snapped.
"Sorry, Haru-chan. It's just a bit surprising that Rin-chan jumped the gun already, know what I mean?" Nagisa grinned sheepishly.
"Nagisa, you really aren't helping," Rei sighed, shaking his head.
"Now, just calm down..." Makoto sweatdropped.

"WHAAAAAAT!?"
"Onii-chan, could you have found any other way to express your feelings this early on!?" Gou huffed.
"Yo, nice one man!" Momo laughed, slapping Rin on the back.
"Ow! Dammit Momo, that shit hurts!" Rin barked.
"Yeah, nice job Rin... it was pretty bold, though..." Ai commented quietly.
"Eh, whatever gets the point across the quickest, the better. That's how I see it anyway," Sosuke shrugged.
"Whatever," the prince muttered, before turning and propelling himself elsewhere.
~~~ Next week, second meetup ~~~
Haru slowly approached the reef, seeing an anxious Rin already there. Once their eyes locked, the maroon-haired male looked away awkwardly. Haru sighed and went up to him.
"Rin. If you're acting like this about what happened at the cemetery, then stop. I already told you it was fine.." Haru commented, making the Shark sigh.
"Alright, alright... Anyways, what're we doing today?"
"Hm... I don't know.. Wanna just explore the areas around here?" Haru suggested.
Rin grinned, showing off his shark-like teeth. "Sure!"
After the Shark's response, they both swam even farther than they already were from their kingdoms. They stopped every few minutes, whether it be something like watching a school of fish swim by, admiring the scenery, or even just taking in the serenity of one another's presence. However, when they were exploring an undisturbed area known to be popular for divers in the summer, something caught Rin's eye.
"Oi, Haru... come 'ere real quick," he called to the blue-eyed Dolphin.
"Um.. Okay..?" Haru went over, wondering why Rin called him over.
"Look at these," Rin pointed to two necklaces hung around an old, rusted pipe. Each of them seemed to have an artificial pearl on them, along with a fake seashell on them. One had a blue shell, and the other had a red one.

"Wow.. I'm surprised they haven't gotten swept by the current," Haru commented.
"Yeah.. But I was thinking we would use them as... sort of a way to think of each other..? I don't know how to describe it, but you get the point, right?"
"Yeah, I get it," the Dolphin nodded, smiling gently. Rin grabbed the necklaces off of the pipe, before handing the red one to Haru and putting the blue one on himself. Haru put the red one around his neck as well.
And at that moment, the shells seemed to light up, just as their hearts had.
