Chapter 27

Megan's POV

After the party was over we cleaned up and went back to the hotel rooms. We all stayed in one room. I decided to give Matt some space and hang out with carter. Well turns out Matt gets jealous. Real easy.

It's was 2:30am so we all got ready to go back to our rooms. "Goodnight carter. Love you" I said hugging carter. "Night. Love you to" he said back.

I walked mover to matt. He looked at me and rolled his eyes. "What's wrong with you?" I asked. "Nothing except my girlfriend decided to be all over my bestfriend and then go and tell him goodnight and she's love him" he said aggravated.

"Matt we are just friends no need to overreact." I said.

"I'm not overreacting. Maybe you should f*cking think before you go and do stuff" he said harshly.

"We just hugged!" I yelled.

"No I saw you all over him. Don't try and tell me I'm lying." He said.

" I'm tired so goodnight Matt" i said waking away.

"Go run away to carter then." He yelled slamming the door.

I rolled my eyes and walked into my room slamming the door behind me.

Payton's POV

"Do they always fight?" Nash asked.

"Yeah. Ever since they met. They can be perfectly fine one minute then the next they hate each other. But they always make up. They are completely opposite. Matts so romantic and loving then Megan's just Megan." I said.

Nash chucked. "How long does it usually last?"

"Uhm. The longest was 2 months. The shortest was 20 minutes." I said.

"Oh" he said.

"What about Landon and Taylor?" He asked.

"Well... They haven't known each other that long but they fight 24/7. They're complete opposites but hey opposites attract right?" I said.

He shrugged his shoulders and stood up.

"Well I gotta go get my Beauty sleep. See you in the morning" he winked and walked off.

I laughed to myself. The sound of the low music volume comforted me as i looked out the window into the city.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and Matt was standing there with bloodshot eyes and a tear stained face. "Can we talk?" He asked. "Yea of course" i said getting up. I followed him up to the roof of the hotel. He sat down and patted next to him.

"What's up?" I asked

"I f*cked up again." He said.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Well she was hanging out with carter and of course I got jealous smd had to open my big mouth. She probably doesn't even give a sh*t about me anymore. I'm surprised she still hangs around me. I put so much stress on her. I'm just a piece of sh*t. She deserves someone way better." He said.

"Matt don't ever say that about yourself. You know how much she loves you. Y'all have always fought but y'all always make up. Just give her time. Trust me she'll come back. She couldn't live without you." I said.

"I hope." He said.

"You can go now. Thanks for everything." He said quietly.

"Anytime" I smiled and walked back to my room.

I looked back before I went down the stairs and he had his head in his hands and I could here him sniffling. I sighed and continued walking.

Matts POV

I stared up at the stars. It was 3:45am but I can't sleep. I pulled my hood up over my head and walked down the stairs. I opened the door to my Room and walked in. I grabbed my phone and walked back out. Once I was outside I just started walking. I don't even know where I plan on going but I just need to take a break from everything.
