Chapter 29

Megan's POV

I opened my eyes and I was in a white room. I groaned and tried to sit up. Pain spread through my body so I laid back down. "How you doing honey?" My mom said hovering over me. "Painful" I huffed. "Where's the rest?" I asked. My mom wiped her eyes and looked at me. "They didn't make it" she said crying now. Tears brimmed my eyes. "How?" I managed to get out. "They all died instantly" she cried. "How'd I make it?" I asked. "Matt" she cried even harder now. "He saved me" I cried. She shook her head and sat down to calm herself.

There was a knock and someone walked in. My mom greeted them and then walked out to go get some lunch. I heard someone sniffle. I opened my eyes and I saw carter. His eyes were bloodshot. "Hey Megan" he whispered. "Hey" I said. "Carter he saved me." I cried again. He nodded and blinked back tears. "He's a good person. I'm sure he can't wait to see you up there" he smiled looking up. I looked up and smiled. "I love you" I whispered. "They were all such good people" he said. " I know" I smiled thinking of all the memories. He nurse walked in. Carter stood up and left. "How do you feel?" She asked me. "Better" I said. "How long have I been here?" I asked. "3 days" she smiled. "You can to home today if you pass all the check ups" she said wheeling my bed to anther room. I nodded and closed my eyes.

"Megan" my mom whispered tapping on my shoulder. I opened my eyes and looked over at her. " you can go home" she smiled. The nurse helped me up and sat me in a wheel chair. She then rolled me out front and helped me in the car. My mom got in and looked at me. "It doesn't seem real does it?" She sighed. I shook my head and turned on my phone. She started the car and we drove off.

"They already had the funeral for them all" she said. "Oh" I said. "Do you want to get some flowers or anything?" She asked. "Yes" I answered. She pulled up to a small store and parked. "Do you need me to come with you?" She asked. I shook my head and walked slowly into the shop. I walked to the flower section and looked them.

Sunflowers for Landon

White Lillie's for cam

Dogwood for Payton

Purple Lillie's for Taylor

And roses for Matt.

I Picked them up and sat them on the counter. The cashier smiled and looked at me. "Why so much flowers?" "5 of my bestfriends including my boyfriend and sister just died" I said. "Oh I'm so sorry" she said. "$50 but you ca have them for $30" she smiled. I handed her the money and walked back to the car. We drove the the graves and my mom sat in the car while I put the flowers out

I walked to Payton's grave. "Thank you for all the great memories. Thanks for being such a great friend. I love you" my eyes teared up as I sat the flowers down.

"Taylor. Thanks for everything. I hope you have a great time up there. I love you" I sat the flowers down. By now I was crying.

"Landon. I love you. Even though you weren't always nice to me I still will miss you". I smiled and wiped my eyes.

"Cam. We weren't as close as I wish but you were still an amazing person. I love you" I sat his flowers down.

"Matt. I love you more than words can describe. I wish I could be with you. You were the best friends the best boyfriend the best person ever. I don't know where I would be without you. All the little things we did will be in my mind until I die. I just wish I could kiss you one last time. I can't wait to see you. I love you" I put my head in my heads and cried.

I felt arms wrap around me. I looked up and it was nash. "It's gonna be okay" he said rubbing my back. His eyes were red. You can tell he been crying. "What are you doing here?' I asked. "I came to tell them goodbye" he smiled and wiped his eyes. "He always told me if he died before me he'd watch over me" I cried. "I'm sure he's sitting right there hugging you" he pointed to the other side of me. I smiled. "He'll protect you. They all will" he said looking at me. "I have to go now. Bye Megan." He hugged me and stood up. "Bye nash" I smiled. He walked off. As he walked bye cams grave he turned around. "Bye cam." He smiled and turned back around.

I walked back to the car and we drove back home. I can't believe their actually gone.
