1984 - "Masterpiece Enterprises" (New York)
Patrice
Prince and Brenda showed up to my office before the weekend. I sat down with this happy couple as we rounded one conference table with my chosen employees.
Muffled bass thundered from that lobb without hesitation to kick off the early morning.
"I keep thinking about mermaid style. Prince is gonna end his tour for "Purple Rain" in Miami next year. I would like to have a beach wedding." Brenda articulated thoughts with the infamous New Jersey accent.
"Great idea." I offered happiness to the bride. Even her sparkling engagement ring finger pointed towards one catalog image.
"Thanks. On the other hand, Mr. knucklehead can't make up his mind between gray or black yet." Brenda laughed to herself.
Regardless, both of my wardrobe employees scribbled nearby. I winked right behind my desk.
While still attentive, Prince occasionally nodded along to Chaka Khan.
Brenda then immediately nudged this man out of the trance. We all couldn't help snickering at this point.
"Sorry, everyone. I'm actually going with black." Prince jolted himself to sit up in the chair and cleared his throat.
"Finally! Thank you, Jesus." Brenda tossed up her acrylic nails in the name of praises. I even applauded with the staff members. Prince jokingly rolled his eyes.

The bride and groom would return for exact measurements next week.
My two chosen employees now hid away in private rooms on the premises to craft. So far, so good.
At times, I entered different floors throughout the day to check on everyone here.
I loved to simply leave that confined office and clear my head of the busy clutter for a moment.
Now, I reached the leisure section of this building. Employees scattered all over, enjoying snacks and beverages before leaving to hustle again.
Just as my heels traveled further down this winding corridor, one of the phone lines shrilled.
