I broke down, I can't believe baby sister went through all of that.
"Why are you crying Lamar" Dr. Williams getting me to stand up.
"I should've been there for my sister, I've spent my life trying to protect my younger siblings t-". Dr Johnson cut me off
She shook her head. "That was your mother and Father job to protect them. You were a child"
"I know but still. I feel like I'm responsible for them because I'm the oldest. I've failed them all". I started back crying

That's when Lourdes thought, the past is the past. She is finally starting to have a family.
She smiled. "I love y'all too." With that they gave a group hug.
