It's the day before the baby shower, I just got off the phone with the planner and she says everything it's coming together perfectly.
"Wassup bro" Quincy walked in my office
I nodded. "Wassup"
"So you heard there is suppose to be a new worker coming in." He said
I shook my head. "Nah, I've been busy getting all these contacts together for these new connects we getting."
"My lil bro is at the top now. With his brother in laws." He laughed
I looked at him sideways. "What you trying to say?"
"I'm just saying you upgraded when y'all started dating, but you really upgraded to the top when she got pregnant." He was trying to hint at something
"So you saying I only upgraded because of my pregnant wife. I bust my ass around his just like everyone else do!" I raised my voice
That's when Lorenzo, Lamar and Leon walked in
"What's going on?" Lorenzo asked
I stood up. "My brother here is saying I only upgraded to higher positions Is because of my pregnant wife."
"First of all nigga she isn't your wife. And all I'm saying is it's funny how as soon as they start dating and she gets pregnant he is at the top with y'all." Quincy ass says
Lamar looked at him crazy. "If it wasn't for your little brother your jealous ass wouldn't even be working here. Second of all Christian has been working for me majority of his life. He was gonna be at the top eventually. Not because of my sister. And don't bring my pregnant sister into this shit."
"Look I don't need the drama. I have a baby shower tomorrow." I tell them
I heard my phone ding, i pulled it it out and it was a message from my mom. It was a picture of her, Mariah, my grandma, my sister, Lourdes grandma and Lourdes getting pedicures. Then a picture of all them touching her belly. I looked at it and smiled.

I was sitting in my office smoking a blunt with Lamont. That's when Brittney walked in
"Hey Lamont and Hey Christian". Brittney spoke
I rolled my eyes. "Man why you in here, you blowing my high."
Brittney walked up to me and started rubbing on my arms. I pushed her
"Bitch back up." I tell her
Lamont stood up. "Bitch you must really don't know how crazy my sister is."
Brittney rubbed on Lamont next. "I can Please the both of you."
Lamont pushed her too. "Nah I'm good."
I grabbed a picture of Lourdes of my desk. "Look at this, this is my woman that I love. You could never have her spot. Get that through your dumb ass head . If you don't want to die you will leave my office and never bother me again."
She looked at me with tears in her eyes and ran out.

I walked in my house and seen Lourdes cooking. It smelled amazing. I walked behind her and wrapped my arms around her.
"What's good baby." I spoke kissing her
She smiled. "Nothing."
"How was your day.? I see you and the ladies went out." I tell her sitting down at the table.
She started fixing my plate. "Yea, we did and I enjoyed myself. How was your day?"
"It was good, I talked to the planner and she said everything is perfect." I said as she put my plate down in front of me.
She squealed. "I'm so excited, are you?"
It wasn't really a big deal to me
"Yea. It's gonna be lit." I smiled
