"The loneliest moment in someone's life is when they are watching their whole world fall apart and all they can do is stare blankly." - F. Scott Fitzgerald

I fell to the floor, my entire body wracking with sobs. I couldn't think. I couldn't speak. I felt as if my entire soul had just been ripped from my body.

Remy was the first one over to me. "Stella, are you alright? What's wrong?"

"They killed him." I sobbed. "They killed Louis, and they said they're going to kill me too."

"What?" Remy looked over to Jet. "Somebody turn on the news!"

Zayn, who was closest to the tv, switched it on to the local channel. The late night news had just started. The room was now completely silent except for my sobs, which I had no control over.

"And now for some breaking news, the bodies of singer Louis Tomlinson and well known Miami nightclub magnate John Avery were found in Brooklyn, both the victims of a violent shooting. We have Jennifer Davis with the story." The reporter said.

The scene cut to a young woman at what was the apparent scene of the crime in Brooklyn. "Thank you Robert. Yes, sadly about half an hour ago an anonymous 911 call alerted the police that a drive by shooting took the lives of two men, identified as Tomlinson and Avery. According to the caller, the two men had been standing on the street corner bidding each other goodbye before a black SUV drove by and both were shot dead on the spot. As of right now, there are no leads to who committed this awful crime, however considering the fame of it's two victims, it's sure to become a priority of the NYPD."

There was absolute and complete chaos. Yelling, screaming, crying, me laying on the floor in a puddle of my own tears.

"Stella, Stella." Jet was shaking my arm. C'mon, we have to get you out of here now.

"No!" Niall interrupted. "She'll stay here with me."

"It's not safe for her here!" Jet argued. "Niall, there are things going on that you don't understand-"

"I won't let you take her away." Niall said defiantly.

"Fine." Remy sighed. "Then you'll come with us. But we have to go, now."

"Go where? We can't stay in the city." Said Jet.

"Then we'll go to Boston. I still have my apartment there." Remy nodded. "I'll call the airport and have my dad's jet prepared to take us there."

"Okay, good idea. But hurry." Jet instructed. "Who else should come?"

"Ryder." I gasped inbetween sobs. "We can trust him, I promise. He'll be in danger if he stays here."

Jet, much to my surprise, didn't argue. "Niall, go pack a small bag with a few necessities. Remy, call JFK and get the plane ready. Ryder!"

Ryder, who had been standing sheepishly off to the side, hurried over. "What's up? Is there something I can do?"

"We're heading off to Boston. It's not safe here anymore. Stella wants you to come with us." Jet explained in hush tones.

"Okay." Ryder nodded. "Anything to help."

Niall, who had disappeared off to pack his bag, reappeared suddenly, holding a T-shirt and some sweatpants. "Stel, I brought you something to change into. Ashton said we could drive his car to the airport, that way nobody will know it's us."

Unabashedly, I pulled the sweatpants and T-shirt on over my dress before unzipping it and discarding it on the floor. Taking a band from my purse, I pulled my hair back into a ponytail. "Okay, i'm ready."
