[Ben's POV]
"Grammy?" I asked in bewilderment.
"Grammy, I suggest you stay away from him unless you want to take another hundred year nap." Harry snapped.
"You?!" Queen Leah leaped back, "How did you stay so young, and become a guy?"
Because I'm not Maleficent, genius. "Oh, I'm not Maleficent. I'm her son, Ben."
"Queen Leah, it's okay." Mal appeared behind me, "I gave the villain kids a chance to live here in Auradon, like normal people, with normal lives, remember?"
"A chance to what, kill us all? Put us all to sleep? Curse us? Breathe fire and roast us alive?" she said hysterically. Get a grip, old hag.
"I'm not-" I tried to comfort her. I hated any efforts of kindness, but Auradon is Auradon.
"Stay. Away. From. Her." Harry pronounced slowly, Uma and Gil appearing beside him. Suddenly, Lonnie and Doug were beside me, but Jane was nowhere to be seen.
"No way, okay? What do you think the villains teach their kin? Kindness? Fair play?" Well, they apparently don't teach their kid that.
Doug took out the magic mirror, in fact it didn't even have to be a magic mirror, and asked, "Mirror mirror, in my hand, who is the biggest jerk in the land?" the mirror showed a picture of Uma and showed it to her.
"Oh, shut up." Uma said. She tried to knock the mirror from Doug's hand but Lonnie body-slammed her as Doug took out the knock-out cologne and sprayed her with it. Uma fell limp and Harry and Gil rushed forward to catch her.
"What did you do to her?" Harry asked Doug, and not politely at that. Jane held Dude in her arms and nudged Lonnie. We followed Jane out, and went towards a bench. I paused, and the others did the same.
"I am really looking forward to blowing this popsicle stand tomorrow." I said.
[Mal's POV]
"But it isn't their fault, dad!" I stared at him.
"No, Mal. It's yours." he said solemnly. Everyone was leaving the campus. Harry had finally woken Uma up, and I rushed over to them.
"Is everyone alright? Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked.
"You've done enough, M." Harry gave me a look. I walked over to find Ben and the others sitting silently.
"Hey, ignore them. It's alright, okay?" I hugged Ben, but he continued to stare at the space in front of him. I walked away, hearing Harry and Carlos laughing. I saw a glimmer of light coming from behind me. I turned around, but saw nothing.
[Ben's POV]
They were all surrounding the study desk in me and Doug's dorm.
"So, I am going to be in the front with Mal. Then, when Fairy Godmother raises the wand, I grab it from her hand, and you guys rush down to me. Is that simple enough?" I raised an eyebrow.
"We get it." Doug said.
"Can we take Dude? You know, when we leave." Jane asked.
"Take whatever you like. We're taking over the world, for Lucifer's sake." I said, exasperated.
"I already it." Lonnie dug out a pocket watch, a tie, two wallets, and five dollars total of change.
"Why do you need the random tie?" I questioned.
"I thought it was a cool pattern to give to Evie to make into a leather jacket." Lonnie replied, shrugging her shoulders.
"What do we do after that?" Doug asked.
"We lift the barrier using the wand, and get our parents to come here and destroy everything good and pleasant in the world. Now, scram." I said, "Toss me the spell book." I looked at Doug. He threw it at me, almost hitting me in the face. I looked through the pages for the anti-love potion muffins. I found it and headed for the kitchen immediately. I started to get emotional, as I mixed the batter. I felt vulnerable to Mal, which was strange, but kind of nice. Then, I started singing softly.
I flicked my tear into the muffin batter, and brought the muffin to bake. I leaned against a shelf until the muffin was ready, and stored it inside a greyish silver box wrapped in blue ribbon. I didn't want Mal to still be in love with me, after all i've done.
