Chapter 30

Stage One: Feelings

I hates this stage because I didn't know what to do but I ended up doing what they wanted me to do. I watch MJ stand in the middle while Tay stands in front of her. I know she won't understand and I feel useless as Im not allowed to help her.

"How do you feel when the kids shout at you?" Tay asked.

"Upset, angry and scared" She quietly says.

Tay looks at me for to let him do it so I nod my head. I look at MJ and gave her a thumbs up. I watched Tay circle around her, I remember his brother doing the same to me which made me feel scared. The only difference was that Tay told his brother to back off and give me space. After that Tay wouldn't leave my side and this was before we were dating.

"Your worthless! No likes you that's why your mum left you in the first place" He shouts at her.

I watch MJ's eyes fill up with water but her hands turned into fists. She is so close at passing this stage. I felt angry at the words that Tay used but I know their not true.

"How do you feel now?" He screams.

"Sad and angry" She whispers.

"It was your fault that your daddy nearly died! They want you dead because your ugly" Tay yells in her face.

Out of nowhere I saw MJ punch Tay in the face. She learnt so fast but she would not stop hitting him. I ran over then picked her up so she could stop fighting. I saw MJ holding her hands while tears fall down.

"Mummy my hands hurt" She whines to me.

"We will sort that out" I told her.

I look over to Tay and saw him holding his jaw while smiling. I gave him a smile back as he nods his head for the next stage. I took MJ's hand as we followed the Tay who's walking to the gang.

Stage Two: How to fight

You might think its easy to fight but its really not because you can break your hand from just throwing a punch. You have to make sure that your thumb is positioned probably.

I watch Tay and Darren talk then both of them came over to us. Darren bent down to MJs height but she moved closer to me. I gave a glare at Darren which made him back off.

"MJ, I'm Darren and I will show you how to throw a punch" He smiles at her.

She just nods her head as she stands facing opposite him. I sat back down on the bench with Tay sitting next to me. I could tell he wanted to say something to me but he didn't want too.

"Spit it out" I muttered to him.

"Why? Why come back? Why here? Why not be like normal parent and tell the school?" He asked me.

"I need her to defend for herself because I did tell the school but they do nothing about it. I came back because this is home to me and you guys can help her with fighting and defending. I'm trying to be a normal parent but do you know how hard it is being the only parent who's 22 while others are 35 plus" I ranted to him.

"I'm sorry Isis, I didn't mean to be rude or insulting. You always run back here if something bad happens in your life, Luke is dickhead because doesn't treat you right" Tay explains to me.

"He has been a dickhead but he has treated me right! Its just we are going through a difficult time" I corrected him.

I watch MJ fix her fists as she throws a perfect punch in Darren's stomach. I cheered as she gave me a smile. She kept doing it but sometimes she would look at her hand to make sure its correct.

"She's exactly like you" Tay spoke up.

"Is she? I thought she was more like Luke" I smiled at Tay.

"No, she has your fighting skills plus she had a very powerful punch when she swung at me" He chuckles.

"That's my girl" I laugh with him.

They came back while Lola and Georgia also followed behind. MJ had a huge smile as she knew she had done well so far. I quickly gave her a hug as we are about to do the final stage for her because the I want to skip out the weapons stage.

Stage three: defence

MJ sat next to me while Lola and Georgia showed how to do self defence. It was to fast for MJ to get it straight away. I told them to slow it down which they did and MJ got up to practice.

Georgia threw a punch at MJ but luckily she ducked in time. I watch MJ get back up but Lola twisted her back which made her hiss. I got up to stop Lola then I was pulled back by Tay. I saw MJ lift her right leg up and kicked Lola in the leg. Lola let go of MJs arm as she went to rub her shin.

MJ quickly took the opportunity to hit Lola in the face. I cheered for MJ and turned around to give Tay a hug. He hugged me back straight away. I pulled away first then I went over to MJ and picked her up.

"You did great baby girl!" I say as I kiss her nose.

"Remember to use it on people who attack you and the bullies who are mean but don't do it to the teachers, okay kiddo?" Tay tells MJ.

"Okay" She chirped up. "Mum like these people"

"I'm glad you like us because we like you too" Georgia smiles. "Sorry Isis for everything and maybe we can become friends again"

"Sure" I gave her a high five. "Its time for me and little one to go home, so you guys around"

I gave everyone a hug also made friends with them again. Lola kept telling me how MJ is like me which made me laugh. I drove back to my nans house while MJ sings in the back seat to her dolls.

I arrive at my nans mansion and I carry MJ to the house. When I open the door I was able to smell food. I walked down the hall way with MJ still in my arms. I approach the dining room and I could hear everyone in there. I pushed the door wider so I can go in. The room fell silent as my lovely nan glares at me.

"You alright grandma?" I grin at her.
