Chapter 10

I stare at him. I look down to my lap and look at the crisps then back at him. My jaw is touching the floor. Not really touching floor it could if I was Scream but I'm not. I turn away and looked at Austin who gave me a sweet smile.

The film started and it was okay but not scary. It started to become more shit further into the film. Lets say no one should watch this film. I might as well set money on fire for entertainment.

During the film Luke's hand kept 'accidentally' touching or resting on my leg. Luckily I didn't do a big reaction because I don't want Austin to get annoyed. To tell you the truth I actually loved it when Luke did that.

"I'm gonna go to the toilet" Austin tells me as he got up and left.

I quickly turned to face Luke and slapped him on the arm. He gave out a little cry. He deserves it because his ruining my time with Austin. Why isn't he with CakeFace? What about MJ?

"Why are you here?" I snap at him.

"What happened to a thank you for the crisps! For your answer I got bored" He tells me.

"Yeah right, where's Sabrina?" I ask him as he looks to the ground.

"We broke up but she said that I would still want her after she gave me her christmas present." He sighs.

"I'm sorry th-"

"Don't be sorry, I'm glad its over" He rudely interrupted me but gave me a smile.

"That's a bit random but why?" I ask him.

"Because I like someone else" He mutters.

"Good for you, I'm happy that you could find someone better than her" I exclaim as I hug him.

I heard a cough from behind and I saw Austin standing their awkwardly. He looked a bit annoyed before I could say another he just walked away. I ran after him while leaving Luke behind.

Why does everything have to go wrong? I wish my life could be normal for once. I didn't do anything apart from hug a friend while I was with another guy. Oh maybe that's why Austin is annoyed.

"Austin" I shout as I grab hold of his arm.

"Go away" He barks at me.

"Fine, I will. By the way that guy is Luke aka my friend and he just broke up with girlfriend" I informed while glaring at him.

"That's why you hugged him?" He asks me.

"Yeah, it was" I whisper.

"I'm sorry, I just got jealous" He looks to his feet

"Aw you got jelly but I'm sorry because I only came here as thinking it as a friendship thing and nothing else." I explain to him.

"Also its because I like-"

"You like Luke, I get it" Austin interrupts me.

I look to the ground feeling bad. Even guilty. I dare myself to look at Austin but I'm such a coward that I couldn't. I hear him sigh as he pulls me into a hug. I was shocked. Surprised. I just totally rejected him. I guess this is easier than I thought.

"Go to him and be happy" He whispers in my ear.

"Thank you and I was wondering this week maybe we can do a duet for my album" I say to him as we pull away.

"I would like that, see ya around" He waves goodbye.

Now, I'm standing in the middle of the cinema which smells like popcorn but I hate the smell. I was able to leave when felt something touch my back. My first reaction was to elbow the person which I did. I turned around and saw Luke holding his stomach. I thought I got over this surprise thing.

"I forgot you said you don't like surprises" Luke says while looking at the ground.

"I didn't mention anything about surprises" I tell him as he shot up and looked at me.

"The only person that ever did that was Isis" He mutters to me.

I was and will still be the only one who does that. Wait. Does he know? He can't know. He shouldn't know because I don't want anyone to know. I look at him as I see pain flashes across his face. Its not pain of when I elbowed him, its pain of me leaving him all those years ago.

"Come on, we have to go or we will be late." I told him as I walked ahead of him.

"Late for what?" He asks while catching up with me.

"For the carnival" I yell while jumping up and down. I get way to excited for things.

We arrived at the carnival. Its so pretty with the lights filling the place and smell of hotdogs and candy floss. I love candy floss. Everyone is here. We all got out of our 2 mini buses as I start to walk I felt a little hand hold mine. I look down to see MJ smiling up at me.

"Come on daddy" She yelled with a cute tone.

She stuck her other hand out as Luke grabbed it. We all walked hand in until she asked us to swing her in the air. Which we did. I couldn't help but laugh because she looked so adorable.

We took her on the tea cups, Ferris wheel and fun house while the others went off somewhere else. We eat chocolate covered strawberries and hotdogs. We won lots of prizes. I bet Luke on the dance mat but MJ won out of us three.

MJ got tired so did Tommy and Lexi. Gina offered to go home early with them so we could have more fun. We said all our goodbyes then we got separated again. I was left with Luke who took me to this dancing area where you just dance to music.

The songs at the beginning were fast so we did some body popping and we grind against each other. It was nothing bad because all the other couples were doing it. The fast song changed to slow song.

"May I have this dance?" Luke says in British accent.

"You may kind sir" I returned back as he chuckled.

He pulled me in as held me by may waist while my arms are draping from his neck. I rested my head on his shoulder while we moved slowly forward and back.

"I haven't seen you in ages

Sometimes I find myself

And beautiful and dancin' away with my heart" Luke sang in my ear.

I tried to hold the tears back but I couldn't. The tears fell down my cheek without letting me control them. Last time I danced with Luke is when I was 17 and he was 18. This song describes us but he will never know.
