Chapter 27

Its been 2 weeks since Luke has been in a coma. I refused to send MJ into school as I knew the paparazzi would follow her there which I don't want. She has been to hospital every now and then but I'm worried about Luke not waking up. Today was the first day she went back to school.

I'm by Luke's bed. I watch him lay there still not moving. Its hard seeing him like this but I wish I could stay by his side 24/7. I can't do that as I need to be there by MJs side. I got told my doctors that Luke's left leg was crushed during the car crash. It might take forever for him to walk and wake up.

Jai and beau has visited a lot also James has been looking after Gina as she has been having a hard time. Lexi and Daniel offered to have MJ to stay at theirs for a couple of nights.

While sitting by Luke's side I was able to hear a loud commotion coming from the hall way. I went to check outside and I saw doctors running around. The nurses were looking in the cupboards and everything. I turn to see a little girl about MJs age who was badly bleeding.

"She's not breathing" A doctor yelled.

"The bleeding has stopped" A nurse called out.

I watch a nurse run down shaking her head while tears flowing down. I guess she knows the child. I heard her scream out "my baby". That made me cry as well.

"There's no more free life support machines" A nurse yells down the hall.

I felt a cold touch on my hand which made me shiver. I gave a smile as I know its Luke. I turn back and look at his body being still. I know what have to do, so does he.

"Take his life support machine" I shout as everyone stared at me. "Come get it now"

Doctors rushed in and unattached the wires to him. Tears were falling down my check but I know this is meant to be. I watch them put it on the girl and they all cheered as she responding. The mother ran other to me and gave me a hug.

"Thank you, thank you! I pray for you and your family" She cries to me.

"Go to your daughter" I whispered.

I turn back around then I slowly went back to Luke who was still on his bed. I silently cry as I realised I just ended Luke's life. I sat on chair and watch him slowing, trying, fighting to breath.

"I'm sorry so Luke" I whisper to him.

The room was cold. Silence everywhere. I look around, it seems like the whole world is fading away. Luke died. I died. The world died. World is gone. the world is over.
