Jae hated her life. Hate was a strong word, but she had the right to hate. She was used her whole life, for purposes no one should ever see or hear.
Most shapeshifters were bought and placed in circuses, worked as maids or butlers for rich families, salves to horrible people, sex slaves, entertainment, or breeding.
Jae was a sex slave. She was a shape-shifting cat.
Each shapeshifter had three phases. Their completely animal form, half human and half animal form, and their completely human form.
Jae was captured when she was eight. They took away her parents and separated the three away from each other. Jae's mother was taken into the breeding division, while her father was placed into the circus.
There were rebellions around the world. Very few humans thought that using the shapeshifters are wrong. Shapeshifters and few humans were fighting back to the sick and twisted humans.
Many of those rebellions had been taken care of by the League of Life. The League of Life believed that shapeshifters were below them and that they should be used as toys. They were essentially the new government. It was made up of rich humans. Whether they were male or female did not matter.
The day would come where shapeshifters succumbed to the lustful wishes of the humans. No one would be able to stop the followers of the League of Life. They had all the money and power needed to kill off anyone that got in their way.
Kim Taehyung's father was one of the members of the League of Life. His father always donated money and gave it his all to their cause.
Taehyung had been surrounded by shapeshifters his whole life. His butler and their maids were shapeshifters, but he never had his own personal shapeshifter.
Taehyung rarely went with his parents to the black market biddings. He found them interesting, but he never needed a shapeshifter. But one day, he woke up, staring at the ceiling, and realized that his time of freedom was running out.
In a few months, he would be married to his fiancée, June. He didn't want to be tied down, so he wanted to have as much fun as possible.
That's how he ended up attending a black market bidding with his parents on March 20, 2018.
