The alarm clock jarred her into consciousness at 5:55 am, a ridiculous time of the morning. Fumbling till the noise stopped Annie smiled and waited. At 6:02 am, she heard the unmistakable sound of the shower being turned on. Climbing from her comfortable bed she tiptoed to the bathroom, holding her ear to the door, a gleeful grin spreading across her face.
Sean was singing, she loved that he was so predictable.
Giving a feline stretch, Annie crossed the room to her bedroom door and opened it. On the threshold she paused, once out of the bedroom she had fifteen seconds to turn off the motion sensors, or the smoke cloak would be activated. Taking a moment to consider the rights and wrongs of her actions, with their inherent consequences of course, she shrugged, and counting down, strolled into the open plan living area. Picking the camera situated behind Sean's LCD widescreen television Annie mouthed a kiss at it, peeled up the top of her pyjamas and exposed her naked breasts. Supremely satisfied she spun on her heel and made it back to her room, climbed under the bed, just as the units began belching vast quantities of vapour into every corner of the house.
The bathroom door smashed against the wall, making her jump and she swiftly covered her mouth with her hand, gritting her teeth so no sound escaped.
“You bitch!” Sean thundered. "It's a security system not a fucking toy."
Annie's head bobbed as she silently hooted beneath the bed.
"Where are you, I know you’re in here. Did you enjoy that pet?" He asked dangerously. His voice indicated he had drawn closer, a rustle of linens above suggesting he was searching for her among them.
She held her nose and panted quietly, diaphragm spasming in an attempt to not laugh out loud. Then she saw his feet, so close to her face, just visible in a swirling eddy. Annie shifted on the soft carpet with slow, stealthy agility into the centre of her sanctuary. Biting into the soft pad on her palm, she almost hyperventilated.
"I will find you." He promised darkly, the feet disappearing back into the fog. Next her bedroom door was flung open. "Annie!" He bawled. "Where are you?"
The slam of wood crashing into its casing, vibrated through her bones, leaving only the humming of smoke units as they did their job. Taut muscles relaxing, pressure in her chest easing, Annie exhaled trapped air in a breathy, almost soundless giggle. All was quiet in her bedroom, all was quiet everywhere, couldn't even hear him moving about in the living room.
Did the smoke cloak muffle sound?
Visibility poor now the vapour had leached under the bed, she inched out from beneath it slowly. Lifting her head, she felt the brush of the frame on her hair, she still wasn't clear. On her belly she manoeuvred a little further till her hand touched a wet foot, a wet foot?
"Gotcha!" Sean crowed, scooping her up and throwing her unceremoniously over his shoulder.
Annie squeaked, her attempts at bracing herself were thwarted by insanely slippery flesh.
“You're all soapy,” she accused.
"No shit Sherlock." His acid response was accompanied by a sharp, savage slap to her rear end.
Her mouth opened wide in shock. "Ow!"
"Stop struggling then or I'll drop you."
The fog in the bathroom was thinner, probably due to the extractor fan. In the glass partitioned wet room it was non-existent, dissipating beneath the shower spray. Sean walked her into the powerful jets, turning the temperature to icy.
Annie yelped as its frigidity hit her from all directions, thoroughly soaking her pyjamas. Attempting to snake out of his unyielding hold, she writhed, begging for mercy.
"This is what you get for messing with my alarms." He addressed her as if she where a small child.
“You started it!”
Once she was shivering sufficiently, he let her slide intimately down his wet, naked body. Immediately she tried to dive out from beneath cold raining down.
Fisting his hand into the front of her sopping top, he yanked her back in front of him, "Oh no queen, you stay where I put you." He told her, turning the settings back to their original heat. On chilled skin it was meltingly hot, she hissed while he watched her with lazy amusement.
Sean was as naked as the day he was born. His big, solid, muscular body glistened as water ran down to his increasingly, proud length.
Unsure whether the pulse in her veins was due to anger or arousal, she shifted uncomfortably in the clinging, squelchy pjs. Arousal, it was arousal she felt, Annie didn't know where to look. Actually that wasn't strictly true, she knew exactly where to look. Her mouth watered at its growing size, tongue anticipating a slide against smooth, rigid flesh, of musk and salt flooding her taste buds.
"Come a bit closer and I might let you touch."
Tearing her eyes away, she looked up into his knowing gaze. Her cheeks filling with scorching colour. After the way he had left her last night? "You can think again mate." She warned him, even as her body sang with temptation.
The corners of his mouth lifted. "You don't know what I'm thinking?" Sean rebutted quietly.
"Yes I do," Annie argued. "You're thinking about hot and heavy sex in the shower."
His smile carnal, he tilted his head to the side. "I am now, but that wasn't what I was thinking." He informed her smoothly, attention locking onto her breasts.
"Well feel free to enlighten me then won't you." Annie bit out, pulling the sodden fabric away from her rebelliously tight, pouting nipples.
He laughed softly, closing his eyes, lifted his face to the spray, and wiped the water away with his hands. "I'm thinking I can't believe he didn't take you with him."
"Who?" Annie asked confused.
"Who?" Sean gave a bark of laughter. Reaching out he settled two purposeful hands on her waist.
"Who?" He asked, still chuckling, remorselessly tugging her against that powerful frame, he stole a kiss that tipped her head back from the force.
His amused low rumble against her pulsing lips liquefied her cell structure. "Your love is like leprechaun gold, don't ever fall for me with your fickle heart will ya queen."
