Shattered Heart

Chapter 7.

I pulled my long wavy black hair into a messy ponytail Dimitri went out to take a phone call. I was still a little shocked about what had just happened. I mean Dimitri just said that he liked me too. I had a smile on my face. There was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said knowing it was Dimitri. He walked in slowly. "You know you don't have to knock." I said.

"Yes I do." He answered I sighed. "Jenna?" He said.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Officer Swan is coming for a while." He said.

"What why?" I yelled. "I thought you." I started

"I do like you Jenna but, You aren't 18 yet people don't know about this yet and, people would start getting suspicious if I was always here and never went home." He stated cutting me off.

"You're leaving me too. Just like my parents and.... Him." I said I wanted to cry so bad but, I refused to cry right now. I didn't want to cry anymore.

"Hey I'm not leaving you. I'm nothing like him." He said. "I'm just going to be gone long enough to shower, change, and maybe take a nap." He said.

"Ok." I said looking away from him and at my pink fluffy rug on the floor by my bed. He wrapped me up in his arms and, I layed on his chest. We stayed like that for a while. Till I heard a car pull into the driveway. I knew he heard it too. I looked at his face. He knew it was time. I couldn't hold them in anymore. I started crying and cried into his chest. He held me tighter and, just let me cry for a couple of minutes till we heard the front door.

"Hello?" Officer Swan yelled.

"I have to go just lay down." He said hugging me tighter then laying me down as he got up. "I will be back soon." He said as he walked out.

"Hey Dimitri." Officer Swan said.

"Hey Kyle. Listen she isn't really in the best of mood for talking right now so come downstairs ok." Dimitri said. He knew I didn't want to be bothered. I decided it was time to take a shower. I grabbed my purple pajama shorts and a black tank top and, walked out of my room. Dimitri and Kyle were standing at the end of the hallway talking. I started walking towards them because, they were right next to the bathroom.

"Hey Jenna." Kyle said.

"Hey." I said looking up at him and smiled. Then I looked at Dimitri he just smiled at me. I walked past them both and went into the bathroom. I sat my clothes down and turned the water on. When the water was just perfect I undressed took my phone and put it on the sink, took my hair out of the ponytail and got into the shower. I let the warm water run for a while then I got my shampoo that smells like strawberries, and started washing my hair. After shampooing and conditioning my hair. I stayed under the warm water for a little while longer. Then I turned the water off and grabbed my towel to dry off. I put my clothes on and dried my hair. Till it was completely dry and was in soft waves down my back Then I grabbed my phone. I had 1 missed call and 3 text messages. The call was from Anna. One of the text messages was from her too. I opened the door as I read her message. 'Hey girl, party @ my house. You seriously have 2 b here.' It said. I had just finished reading it when I ran into something hard. "Ow." I said looking up. It turns out I had just ran into Kyle.

"Sorry I didn't mean to make you run into me." He said.

"Oh it's fine it was my fault anyways I wasn't paying attention I was looking at my phone." I said. He was bending down to help me pick up the stuff I dropped when I ran into him. I already had my clothes he was reaching for my phone. SHIT! He's probably gonna see that message. Fuck! I thought to myself as he picked up my phone.

"Here." He said handing it to me.

"Thanks." I said relieved he didn't even glance down at it.

"No problem." He said. We were at my bedroom door.
