Mentions of suicide

I woke up to a soft glowing filling my bedroom through the translucent caramel curtains. We had been in this house for just over a week now, Peter was getting worse and apparently only I could tell. James was completely oblivious to the condition of our cousin. I watched helpless as he grew more and more distant. I couldn't do a thing.

As I called as soon as we moved in here a week ago, James had already taken advantage of Maria. The walls, although very nice looking, were a touch thin. I felt very sorry for the ghosts.

Aesthetic_Burrd: Hows week one gone?

AlexanderHamil_Ham: It's pretty good, the house is very nice ;)

Aesthetic_Burrd: Oooooo

AlexanderHamil_Ham: Yah, no it's very nice. It feels very modern but at the same time very rustic. Lots of chandeliers and wood

Aesthetic_Burrd: Noice. Hopefully I can come visit sometime :)

AlexanderHamil_Ham: Yup

After that I put down my phone, only to pick it up right after. I should google the stories of this house. I mean someone must have something about this house online. Right?

I typed in the address.

Suicide House.

Is that what people called it? I kept reading.

Suicide House

A marvelous house with a very tragic backstory. The founders of this house were named the Schuylers. A large family consisting of Philip Schuyler, father, Catherine Schuyler, mother, Angelica, eldest child, Elizabeth, Margarita, and the youngest, Philip Jr.

The tragedy began when Margarita, also known as Peggy, committed suicide. This would tear a rift in any family. About a month after, a raging fire spread throughout the house. It started in the kitchen at around one in the morning and made its way up through the sleeping house. No one survived.

The next family was a well known family named Laurens. Their family consisted of Henry Laurens, father, Eleanor, mother, John, eldest child, Martha, and the youngest, Mary.

This family had a tale that some say is even more tragic, John Laurens had come out as gay to his family, his father didn't agree with that life style so he started beating John.

My screen blacked out. I couldn't get it to turn back on. I looked up and John was sitting in front of me, I noticed that unlike the other ghosts, I couldn't see through him. I could also see the indent where he sat, he was more physical than the others, his pale green eyes looked into mine, he looked sad.

"Please don't look through the stories, you'll never find the truth," and with that he was gone. My phone turned on and the tab was closed.

Something was wrong with this house. Something was hidden and John didn't want me to find it.
