The next week passed in relative tranquility, Alex was still being bullied by some people in his class. Nothing that upset him enough to start complaining to John though. John spent his time helping Maria around the house, cleaning, cooking, and to add on to their lives a few new ghosts had joined the ever expanding ranks.
All the ghosts were sweet and very caring. Angelica helped Alex by reminding John that he needed to eat now that he was a living breathing human. Alex and John enjoyed seeing all the cute quirks of the ghosts around them. One day they would all be together.
John and Alex were often found sitting on the balcony of Alex's room watching the sunset or feeling the wind blowing by.
"Alex?" Asked John.
"Yes, love?" replied Alex, his typing speed decreasing for a minute.
"I'm happy that I'm alive with you," He said kissing Alexander's jaw.
Alex smiled,"And I'm happy that you're alive too."
Companionable silence filled the small room, the two of them happy just enjoying each other's presence. As the light faded out and the room was plunged into darkness the two boys slid into the bed together, holding their latter as close as possible. They fell asleep happy as ever

The next week passed in relative happiness, the two lovebirds were as close as could be, however not everything could be perfect.
Alex stumbled through the door one day after school, Maria found him leaning against the door frame, white as a sheet, or a ghost.
Alex gasped when she touched his shoulder, then he crumpled to the floor. Tears of agony dripping down his face, eyes wide in shock.
"Alex... Alexander. ALEX." Maria called out frantically as he slid out of consciousness.

Maria grabbed John and picked up Alex, they ran to the car. Maria drove, John holding Alex on the way to the hospital.
It took a total of two hours. Alex had a concussion and a broken arm.
Maria and John set up the room upstairs, they closed all the curtains and made sure that it was completely dark, it was taxing and there was very little talking done in the frame that they used to prepare.
Alex drifted in and out of consciousness for a week or so before he felt better. John felt guilty that he couldn't do anything.
"John, it's okay, really. It was some stupid people at school." Alex reassured the taller man once again.
"I know, but there isn't anything that I could've done?"
"No. Simply having you near me is the best thing that you could do. I'm so happy that I have you and I don't care if I got injured."
John let out a long sigh. I'm still sorry that you got hurt, I really really love you and I, uh, I don't want to, to lose y-you"
Alex hugged John close. They just lay there in each other's embrace, it was a wonderful year.
~time skip to end of that year~
It was finally graduation time, Alex was getting his certificates today! John and Maria went and Angelica, Eliza and Peggy tagged along.
It was a truely magical night.
And just like the night Alex moved into the suicide house Eliza danced to the ghostly music, and everything was happy.
Peter and James hadn't been seen for a while, Alex didn't mind.
Soon enough Alex got a job as a lawyer, Maria volunteered at women's shelter, John stayed at the house and enjoyed life.
About a month after Alex got his job, John decided that he wanted to adopt. So Maria and John went out to the orphanage, Alex was still at work, and the got themselves a three year old boy named Philip and his little sister named Mollie.
When Alex got home he was greeted by a very timid John and a bashful Maria.
"Oh no," was all that he said before the small pitter patter of footsteps came towards him.
"Alex, we would like you to meet Philip and Mollie, Philip is three and Mollie is one," Maria explained softly. Alex broke into a huge grin.
"Well, I hope you have their rooms set up cause they had better stay now that they're here!" John was so happy that Alex accepted them, Maria gave the two men a lazy smile before turning to the young ones, she lead them off to get a snack, while Alex took John to do... Other things... ;)
Sorry I haven't updated, I have no excuse, sorry... This is a really messy chapter.. I'll go back and fix it but for now there ya go!
