An eight year old Aries was bored out of his mind, but he wanted to make his family proud. So he paid extra attention in pureblood etiquette class which made no absolute sense since he was considered a half blood since Lily Potter was still his biological mother.

Anyways he learned proper behavioral manners, table manner, and how to start a conversation and how to avoid topics. He also learned how to take advantage of opportunities. He had also learned all the proper Black family requirements that Black heirs needed to pass.

Aries strived to be the best and will do anything in his power to do so. He would sit in front of the many Black family ancestors portraits and ask them questions, while they helped him study. With his eidetic memory he was able to storage all the information in his mind.

Also with the dangers of Dumbledore, the paranoid Black family taught him Occlumency and some Legilimency. It took him a while but once he got the hang of it he was estactic and told his grandmother, grandfather Artie, and his Dad.

Sirius was happy that his son was doing so well but he was worried, that his son might overexert himself, but his concerns where dismissed when he watched his son secretly during a tutoring session. He was surprised to notice that his son easily breezed through the session with little problems, like he had done this before.

His tutors told Sirius that Aries' intelligence level was way beyond his age and seemed to be one of a high school student and once he gets older it would only increase.

Sirius sighed there was no way his son was going to be a gryffindor, he pouted when he told Andromeda and Narcissa who laughed at his displeasure. He was either going to be Slytherin or a Ravenclaw. Which made his family happy other than him, who pouted and said Gryffindor was way better.

Aries found out that he quite enjoyed potions and without Snape breathing down his neck and berating him for everything he did, it was actually quite a calming process. Though his potions tutor recommend that he pull his hair up and cover it so it doesn't become greasy.

His potions master also recommend that he should cover his face so he couldn't get anything in his eyes or breath in the potion fumes. And his teacher mentioned that he should cast a barrier around his potion so no one can temper with it, or cause harm to others. Nodding in understanding his potions tutor taught him the spell. After about five tries he finally got it perfectly getting a praise from his tutor.

Transfiguration and charms were so easy that he easily breezed through them. This continued on for many years and through those years he added other subjects but by theory since he didn't have a proper wand. So when he turned eleven he was freaking excited.
