Chapter 8

Eliza's P.O.V
I sighed while I waited for my plane, you see. Over the past year, I've become more stronger, as in sword fighting, how to climb, and plan tactics. It was mostly Janie who did the planning though, now that I think about it...

Janie and Shantè have been getting really close to each other, they basically do everything together, and when I mean everything, I mean training. Sure me and Shantè have been close when I first got here, and we still are, it's just that they've been really close... What's that word that the Aphrodite cabin uses when they see a couple they like...?

Shipping!

I don't know much about shipping, but I'll ask Cherry later, but I'm going home for the Christmas break. I'll be able to see mum, dad, Petunia, and Lily! And Sev of course, and I've got some stuff from the mortal shops, like candy, clothes (mostly hats, mits and scarfs), I can't wait to see everyone!

Lily and Sev have been writing a lot less in the pass week too, mostly because they we're busy packing, and I understand. I haven't been writing a lot either, but I still manage too, on most nights I'm too tired, from training, or that my friends will drag me off somewhere. But I don't mind, and I've explained to them why I write so late.

"Flight 19 to England, boarding now." The intercom said, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Well, I guess you should be going now Eliza, it was great meeting you." Deanne Côtè said, Shantè's mother. I could see why most of the girls our age have a crush in him, but I just see him as a friend, a brother.

"It was nice meeting you as well, Mrs. Côtè." I said, mother always said to have good manners.

"Oh! How many times have I told you to call me Deanna? Even mom will do!" She slightly exclaimed, just then Shantè came back with his stepfather and sister.

"Eliza, I didn't think you'd leave so soon! But it was nice having you here, you're coming back right?" Shantè asked, his voice had slight worry.

"Yes, I'm coming back, don't worry. But I am concerned about you, what will you do without me?" I joked, getting a giggle from Deanna and a chuckle from Andy, Shantè's stepfather.

"Bye squirt, you keep my brother happy, and I thank you for that." Rose said, Shantè's older sister.

I smiled at her, "It's more Janie Davis who keeps him happy, I'm just a small part." I explained, trying to embarrass him.

"She's just a friend, and you're my best friend, and say hi to Lily and that Sev guy for me." Shantè said, he still didn't trust Sev.

"I will, and thank you for letting me stay at your house for a while, it was really fun." I said, thanking all of his family.

"Don't worry dear, you're always welcome to our home." Deanna said, and smiled softly at me. Just then I felt arms wrap around me, when I turned around it was Shantè, then Rose joined in.

"Bye Eliza, I'll see you in a few weeks." Shantè said, then he got out a box with a light blue ribbon on it and he handed it over to me.

"It's just a little something for Christmas, it's okay if you don't have anything for me. It was unexpected." He said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Thank you... I'll open it when I get home," And with that, I started walking to my flight.

Shantè's P.O.V
As Eliza started walking to her flight, she suddenly turned around and ran up to me. She threw her arms around me, and I felt something warm on my cheek.

"Thank you." I heard her whisper, I looked at her face to see that she was blushing, and from how I felt, I knew I was blushing too.
"Y-you're welcome." I stuttered, then she smiled and started walking back to her plane. As I was watching her leave I heard giggles and chuckles.

"Awww, how cute! You better make her my daughter-in-law Shantè!" I heard my mom say,

"M-mom! I'm now even sure dad and Poseidon would like that." I said, now I was worried of what Poseidon would do to me.

"I'm sure Poseidon would love having you and his Son-in-law, you just gotta ask nicely for his daughters hand." Andy said, I still didn't feel comfortable calling his dad.

"Yea yea, let's just go home." I replied, my cheeks still hot.

*time skip*

Eliza's P.O.V
As I got off the plane, now in England, I got all my stuff. (Idk how a airport works) I saw my mum and dad waiting there, with Petunia of course. She looked no different, maybe her hair was a little longer than I remember it. It's also the same blonde colour as our mother.

"Eliza! Over here darling!" I heard mum shout, I saw her and smiled instantly. I ran up to her and she pulled me into a hug, squeezing me tightly, I felt dad (I almost put Dan, oops 😂) join the hug.

"I missed you so much Eliza, and imagine (forgiveness, can you imagine? Okay I'm sorry) how happy Lily will be when she sees you." Mum said, I could tell she was happy that all her children would be together again.

"Come on Anahita, we don't want to be late." Dad said, it's kinda hard calling your non-biolgical father dad, but you get used to it.

*time skip to Hogwarts express*

If I'm being honest with you, I can't wait till Lily and Sev get off the train. Just as I say this, I see a familiar head's of red and black come out of the train.

Lily's P.O.V
As I walk out of the train, with Sev, I hear someone shout my name.

"Lily! Sev!" Before I had time to react, I felt arms wrap around me.

I saw a mop of red hair in my face, and I knew who it was idmetally.

Eliza.

"Eliza!" I shouted, filled with joy. Then I felt someone else join the hug, which in sure was Sev because I saw from the corner of my eye, the Eliza tugged on his arm.

We hugged each other for a good minute or two.

"It's so good to see you two again, even though it's only been a couple of months." She said, excitement in her voice. "Come on, we'll talk more when we get home, with Sev of course." I said, bringing her with me to our parents and Petunia.

Guys I'm so mad rn
I try to fix the chapters and Wattpad deleted most of this chapter.

But I guess that's alright, nothing major was lost.
