Chapter 10

    Erebus’s P.O.V.

    It has been almost a week since we last saw Fiery, but we know that he is following his master’s order on watching us at all time. For the meanwhile, everyone has been busy with what had happened that night.

    In the Hollow Night’s pack, Zeru and Violet has been recruiting new pack members from the land that he is going to get. His beta, Rick has went on a business trip to go back Ireland to his family. For some reason, I just found out that his mother was a witch that married into the family, making Rick part warlock but he his more werewolves because of his beta side. He is hoping to see if his mother can remove the collar from Fiery.

    Annef and Tqed, even his sister, has been going through Fiery files on the laptop and researching more on his master and Ashley Ryu. At the moment that have hit many walls blocking them that has cause them to take long in their work but they are almost there.

    Mother and Jasmine has been working on his blood samples that he has gave us. Because mother is in the science field and Jasmine is in the medical field, they are working hard to focus on every little thing in the info Fiery blood can tell us. However, because we promised to not look into his true identity, they have to go around many things in the work that can help them. Father is helping out by trying to track down Fiery through the phone. If what Fiery said is true about it being connected to his mainframe, they we should be able to locate where he lives, but for now we got nothing. For some reasons, the signal keeps bouncing off of different locations around Earth.

    The most strange thing that, after I realized who Vita was to my mermories, I have been kept a close eye on him to confirm what I knwonis true. The next day he came into work, he was slow and slightly more tense. Every time I asked about his well-being, he would just blame it on being tried and for his mother making him do crazy workouts all night.  Though he said that, I know that he is hiding something, but I just have to wait for tomorrow when they come over for dinner. My gut is telling me to watch out for his mother most of all.

    Getting out of my head, I lean back into my desk chairs in the office. If I keeping thinking this hard, I might just get a headache sooner or later this week. Right now, I have sent Vita out to make some rounds through out the build to check the processes in work and also the paperwork. Even for his age, he does all the paperwork correct, so I leave that for him to check most of the time.

Sitting back up, I look down at the one thing that has been giving me the most headache. This big book that I got from Fiery. For the past few days, I been trying to read the book, yet it is in poetry. Of all things to be, it has to be the one thing I suck at understanding. Trying to understand the first few pages, I got a phone call. Picking up the phone, I see that it is Ares.

Answering it quickly I waited for him to say something.  “Hello, what up Ares?”

“Hey big guy, what’s going on? I have something cool to tell you.” Ares said in a upbeat voice. Ares was always the most energic between the two of us, even if we was twins, he is the oldest out of us. Right now, he should be in Russia dealing with some issues with our alliance with some clans and companies.

Sigh. “Ares, you would have to wait for me to tell you anything about what is going on. It too serious to talk over the phone, it needs to be talk about face to face, okay. So continuing on, what is so important that you have to tell me about and it better not be about the hot people you see over there.” I was serious about that last part, even though we was serious about our mate or beloved, he was the one out of us that would always look at all the hot and adorable people. I’m just happy he’s never serious enough to actually date or have sex with anyone of them.
