Time woke up early
And went to bed late
He went to work at 7
And he came home at 8

Time works with his friends
Minute hand and second hand
Last night
They went to go see a band

He worked 24/7
Around the clock
Even when he got tired
He couldn't stop

His wife has complained
About him leaving her behind
But the sad thing is
Time has no time

While she's out shopping
Time has to grind
He's going everywhere
Looking for what he can find

Time waits for no one
And he's very independent
When daylight savings comes
Time will sometimes be pleasant

Some people think
Time has no manners
Time is only friendly
To well-deserved planners

Time made Grandpa wrinkly
And made baby grow
And gave Grandma wisdom
To teach you what you know

But what some don't know
Is that Time gets stressed
Especially when a planned event
Becomes a disastrous mess

Even then
Time keeps going
Although he wishes to stop
Time waits for no one

Even writing this poem
Is taking me time
I've been working on it for days
And tomorrow's the deadline

All in all
Time is well-known
He stands on your wall
And sits on your phone

If you want Time
To be kind to you
Let me tell you
What you have to do

Schedule ahead
And always have a plan
Because at the end of the day
Time is a timely man
