i never believed
that eyes could change color
but yours go from green to blue
day by day
moment by moment
and i find nothing
more beautiful
and when they're blue
not only are they blue
there's a gold ring
just around your pupil
that i find
mesmerizing
and when they're green
god, are they green
i see the world in your eyes
and you don't even know
i would love to stay lost
in those windows
in your soul
forever
i never believed
that eyes could change color
until i saw yours
