What do you do with a broken heart?
Wait for it to be mended or hurt yourself some more?
What if someone comes along saying all the right words?
He is charming and intelligent
His smile could light up the darkest days
He gives you his heart and in return wants yours
Knowing that the shards, the broken pieces will only hurt him
But he's willing to mend your heart with his bare hands
Just to see you smile again
