I could feel my heart in my throat as I watched the sky turn dark. The air became cooler, everything slowed down. He was coming. 'Dipper he is here' I squeak while turning my head to face him, Dipper doesn't move not saying a word. Noticing the worried expression on his face I shakily say 'We don't have to do this we can always go back.' Dipper shakes his head and firmly replies 'Kelsey, there is no going back, we have to do this, for Mabel!' Dipper grabs my hand and things seem a little better. Just a little. 'For Mabel' I say.
This book is set 4 years after Mabel and Dipper first come to Gravity falls and they are now 16. Kelsey is the same age.
