I walk home quickly before I'm late, mum wants me back to sort out my room for three o'clock, I have negative five minutes left and am no where near my house. I think its best not to worry my parents about where I am, so I pull my mobile phone from my pocket and call my mum, she does not answer. Slightly out of breath I mumble to the answer phone, "Hi mum I am walking home now, I am around twenty minutes away, I will be back as soon as I can bye." I hang up and continue to walk a little slower now pacing myself. I hear slow foot steps creeping quietly behind me, I turn around slowly and see a glimpse of blue dart behind a tree. Becoming slightly nervous I start to walk again faster, quickly turning to my right around a corner I hide behind a nearby tree, trying to catch another glimpse of who is there.

A boy walks past in a hurry, he looks around and slowly starts walking down the path. As soon as he passes me I step out from my hiding place and quietly walk behind him. "Are you following me?" he stops walking and turns around at my words. He looks at me with an unsure expression, "Why are you following me?" I am relieved that my voice sounded strong unlike the nervous squeak I was anticipating.

"You're not from here" his voice is smooth and slow, he has a shocked look on his face.

"I moved here today, that doesn't explain why you're following me" He shakes his head slightly.

"I'm Dipper"

"Kelsey" He never answered my question... rude. He looks at me with a shy smile.

I look at the time on my phone. "Oh god, my mums going to kill me I'm so late, sorry I need to get going now. Nice meeting you stalker."

"Bye we should meet up at some point." Dipper shouts as I start walking away.

Dippers POV

I finally return to the mystery shack, I swing open the door and shout "Hey Mabel, a new girl just moved here."

"A new girl, what's her name? what does she look like? I have to meet her, I'm so excited we are going to be best friends!" Mabel screams back whilst running down the stairs.

"Her names Kelsey, She seems very nice." Mabel squeals with excitement at the thought of a new friend.

I walk up the stairs to the attic where me and Mabel share a room. The bright yellow sunlight shines through the window casting a triangle on the floor, a constant reminder that 'he' is always here watching our every move.

Kelsey's POV

As I near my house I see the lorry containing our stuff drive past me. I hope I'm not too late, I was hoping to make a good start in this town but so far I've been bullied and stalked, I haven't even survived a whole day yet.

I knock on the front door, 'hopefully ill get my own key soon,' My mum opens the door not looking half as bothered as I thought.

"Kelsey I put your things are up stairs, can you try and unpack most of it before dinner?" She asks as I walk inside.

"Yeah sure thing mum,"

"What's the town like is it nice, I haven't had time to go out yet?" The stress of moving in must be on my side she's not normally this alright with me being almost  an hour late.

"Its great everyone seems really nice." I say as I quickly run upstairs to find cardboard boxes covering my room. I silently laugh and get to work unpacking.
