"Hana? Are you up for it?"
As Namjoon had said, two days later Jimin asked me whether I would like to meet his friends.
They lived in different parts of Korea but were coming to Busan for a few.
They had met when they came to apply for Busan university.
They didn't get in apparently."They went and applied for Seoul instead. Jungkook got into Busan, with me. But you'll see him earlier, rather than when school starts. One of the hyungs left Korea a few years ago, though. We'll be seeing him after a long time."
I nodded. Excitement wasn't the first thing I felt. It was fear.
Scared to see them? No. Scared of their reaction. If they end up like Namjoon, and are able to see right through me, they might tell Jimin. I can't lose him. I've gotten fond of him, maybe even close enough to trusting him. I can't back out now.
Smiling, I shook my head. "I'd love to, but Jimji, give me some time to think?"
He smiled, probably at the nickname, nodding.
"Why the sudden nickname?"
There was a gleam in his eye. He remembers what happend weeks ago
*Flashback*
"Jimin! Come on, you can't just sit there!" I was annoyed.
"Hana, I don t know how to make Kimchi!"
He yelled back, but the smile in his voice was obvious.
"For someone with a name like the dish, you sure are dumb."
He appeared at the kitchen doorway, an eyebrow raised, a lazy smile on his face.
"Name like the dish?"
"Kimchi, Jimin...JIMCHI!" I laughed.
"Ew, no." He grimaced.
I wasn't giving in. "Okay, then Jimji. That's settled, alright?"
My smile gave way to laughter and I found him laughing along with me.
"Alright, Hanana. As you say!"
He winked.
*End*
I smiled fondly at the memory.
"Well, Jim, what're their names?"
"There's Jungkook, Taehyung, me, Hobi Hyung-"
"Hobi?" I asked. It wasn't a name I've heard very often.
"Hoseok. We call him Hobi." He smiled.
I could see how his eyes gleamed. He really did miss them.
"Namjoon Hyung, Yoongi Hyung and Jin Hyung."
Out of all these names, Namjoon was the one I knew.
"I've heard this name somewhere." I whispered, my heart dropping to my stomach at the thought.
"Yeah. Don't worry, he's probably not the one you know. I've known him for a little around 5 years, now. He left Busan a few years back, I think 3?"
"Oh," I pushed my thoughts away, "Really?"
He nodded.
"They'll be coming by tomorrow evening, I think? I'll try to introduce you tomorrow, but if not, day after. Deal?"
