I stayed with Jin that day. Like the old times, Jimin baked his legendary cookies.

Jin and I sat outside, explaining everything to the others, who unlike Jimin, were clueless.

"So, you're related?"

I shook my head. "We're not blood related, but he's my brother."

"So, Hyung, why is your surname Kim?"

Jin knew this was coming. "Taehyung, I was put up for adoption. So they knew my surname was Kim. They asked me, if I wanted to keep the name. I agreed."

"But they put you up for adoption, Hyung, why-"

"I know, Namjoon. Adoption or not, they gave me life. If my biological mother hadn't given birth to me, I would be here. Who knows, Jimin and Hana wouldn't have met. I'll be thankful I wasn't killed before bir-"

"Ah, Oppa, don't say that. Everything's okay now."

I didn't want to hear more. I never thought of it in his point of view. Why he stayed.

"Is that why you stayed? Stayed back with me?"

He nodded, placing a kiss on my forehead. "I knew how it felt to be unwanted. When I was finally adopted...it was great. But seeing you, and you being so nice to me...I really loved you, Hana. I couldn't see my sister go through the pain I went through."

He looked at the boys. "But you did."

"Yoongi Hyung!" Namjoon scolded the elder.

"It's the truth, Namjoon." He looked back at Jin Hyung.

"Hobi Hyung, stop him before-"

Hoseok wasn't having it. "He's right, Namjoon. He had the choice, and he did leave her."

Jin looked down. "Ah, Oppa, its okay.." I looked over at the boys. None of them said anything.

"Guys,. I know he was wrong, but it was a mistake. He really regrets it."

Jin only nodded.

"We know he regrets it. And we forgive him. But it was a bad decision." Taehyung shook his head.

"I know, Tae. I was just foolishly in love and.."

"Hyung, Why'd she leave you anyways?"

"She...she said she didn't love me anymore."

"She was cheating." I muttered.

"I told you, she was cheating. You didn't believe me."

His eyes widened. "Hana, I know, I-"

"No! No you don't know! You called me...you said I was a..."

"Hana, I'm so sorry...I love you."

"She used you. She needed money to go abroad. To her boyfriend."

Jin teared up. He still loved her.

"He..he used to stay in Korea before she met me. He left to study, and she...she wanted to go to him, but didn't have the money. So she-she made you think she wanted a future for both for you in-instead of-"

His face had reddened.

"J-Jin I tried to wa-"

"I LOVED HER, OKAY? I FUCKING LOVED HER!" Tears were rolling down his cheeks, unstoppable.

"Do you-" he stopped. "Do you know how much I cried? I lost the love of my life and- and I lost my sister."

"No, please, you have-"

"I HATED MYSELF!"

I stopped.

"I..I was depressed for a year, I-"

"I didn't know what I put you through, I didn't know what I had done I-"

He let the sobs take over him.

"I beat myself over it everyday. I hated myself. I still do. For whatever I out you through, for believing her."

"And, and the thing is..I almost got over her."

"What do you mean almo-"

"She called me. Two days ago, she called me. She wants me back." He laughed bitterly.

"I suffered for months on hand, because I fell in love with her. I left you—my sister—for her. I don't want her back, again."

I bit my lip. It hurt seeing my brother in so much emotional pain.

"Then don't, Jin. We'll all support you."

"I can't. I can't. I still love her."

Oh God.

"Oppa—"

"I'm sorry, for leaving you, for ruining this, for trusting her, for loving her."

"No, its not your-"

"But it is. It's all my fault. If I didn't leave you, we wouldn't be here. I wouldn't have suffered. You wouldn't have suffered. None of this would have happened. I'm sorry."

All the boys stood silent. I looked over at them, to silently plead for help. How do I control this wave of negativity? Why didn't I know about this?

"Hyung, we'll help you. We'll support you."

I looked over at Hoseok, grateful.
Everyone else joined in, throwing in all the positivity they could muster.

Jimin, however stayed quiet.

"Uh, Hana..?"

I looked over. He motioned for me to go to the next room.

When I joined him, he shut the door behind him.

"I..."

"What is it, Ji?"

"This...Yoonji, we spoke of, went abroad? Where exactly?"

"New York. Where Jin went."

His face paled.

"Was her last name...Choi? Choi Yoonji?"

My heart thudded in my chest.

"H-How...?"

He laughed nervously.

"Would it be absolutely ludicrous if I said...I knew Yoonji?"

What?

"Yes...yes, it would.."
