After the whole fiasco with Jimin, I thought of telling him why I reacted so, well, negatively.

But I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I still didn't...I just didn't trust him.

Yet.

"I know, Namjoon. I should try to trust him, and I know that. But I-"

"I know, Hana. It's hard. Trying is also not easy, I know that too. But you have to do it."

His answer was straight and he knew he was right.

He had been sitting on the edge of my bed, trying to get me to stop thinking too much.

"Hana, none of us knew that Hyung was a part of your past, whatever happened, no one knows."

I nodded.

"Do you want to tell me?" His voice was gentle, like he was just testing the waters.

I shook my head no.

"Very well, then. Whenever you're ready, Hana. I hope that's soon." He smiled, the same sincere smile I saw months ago when I first met him.

I smiled back, this time walking with him to the door.

"Jimin-ah! Come on, she'll need you to keep her company."

Jimin came out of the kitchen, smiling.

"Alrighty, Hana. Jimin is at your service!"

I laughed, and said, "Well, let's see,how about you help me with my homework?"

***

"No, Ji. This is to let the person add more information."

"So, if you don't add the bracket, he can't enter information?"

"Not the bracket! The initial letter!"

Jimin had successfully helped me with math, but there was still a few practice programs I had to finish, which I had very conveniently forgotten about.

"No, Jimin. See, this is why I told you-"

"Hana, I don't know this!"

"I know you don't, that why I told you not to help me!"

We were both laughing hysterically.

"Okay, okay." He stopped first.

"How about you do this tomorrow?"

"Okay, Ji. This is the first good thing you suggested in a long time."

"Hey!"

"Remember the balloon fest?"

At one point in our friendship, Jimin decided to take me to the fair, which was going well, until he got this STUPID idea of popping every balloon he sees.

We ended up popping a child's balloon.

Jimin ran away and his mother asked what happend.

I had to make up an excuse and leave, but I didn't talk to him for two days.

He hated it, and I loved the attention.

"Okay, fine. You win. Let's go to the park?"

His smile was contagious, and I found myself smiling along with him.

"Okay."

***

"JIMIN COME HERE!"

Everyone in the park looked at is as if we were crazy.
