Chapter 1: Klaus

Klaus' POV

The light was streaming in and I groaned and flipped over onto my stomach. Elijah, Hayley, Rebecca...they were all annoying me. They needed this, that, everything.
I just wanted to dominate the city and be in charge. Just ugh.

"Niklaus?" Elijah yelled from outside of my door.
I groaned."What is it Elijah?"
"I require your assistance."
"Why?"
"Niklaus!"
I groaned and got up and went to the door and opened it.
"I should rip out your liver."
"Stop with the threats Niklaus."
He followed me in as I went to put on some clothes over my boxers that I had slept in.
"Or what? I'm trying to sleep and yet you come up here and wake me."
"I need to talk to you about Hayley."
"Couldn't it wait?"
"It's noon Niklaus, stop complaining about sleeping."
"What is it that you need?"
"Hayley is distraught."
"And I care because?"
"She's throwing up everywhere, she's without her people, you shout at her..."
"Sorry Ill try to be more accommodating."
"Stop fooling around brother."
"I'm not fooling anyone. I just don't care."
"You care. Shes carrying your child."
"I don't care about her or that...thing."
"Nicklaus don't say that."
"I can say whatever I want."
"Just stop treating her like she's an animal."
I smirked "She is an animal."
"You know what I mean. Just please try."
I sighed "Fine Elijah just stop expecting me to relish in the fact that I'm without and kept here like I'm a prisoner."
"Without what? And you're the one who wanted power and to rule New Orleans again."
"Without her. And I know I just feel lonely and trapped."
"Ms. Forbes? If you feel that way then why won't you take what you want?"
"She rejected me."
"Since when did that stop you? You still pursued her even when she rejected you."
"I know. I do want her."
"Then go. I can manage things here."
"Thank you brother."
I walked to my closet and began to pack.
"Niklaus?"
"What?"
"Good luck."
"Thank you brother. I might need it."

I packed my things and I was ready to go. Winsler college. I didn't know her fascination with college but hey at least she was doing something.
I compelled my way onto campus but I was having some trouble finding her.
I grabbed a random girl and compelled her.
"Do you know Caroline Forbes?"
"No."
I sighed. I grabbed a guy.
"Do you know Caroline Forbes?"
"Yes. Shes hot."
I growled.
"Do you know where she is?"
"She's not here."
"What do you mean she's not here?"
"She went home."
"Why?"
"Some friend problem. And her boyfriend and her broke up so she wanted to go home."
"Really?" I liked that.
"Yes."
"Thank you mate. Oh and don't look at Caroline again." I threatened
"I won't look at her again."
"Go."
He walked off. Well it looks like I'm going to Mystic Falls.
I texted Elijah.

Elijah 3 pm

"Elijah change of plans. Caroline is in Mystic Falls. I'm going there now."

"Are you sure it's okay?"

"Ill be fine. Talk to you soon."

"Alright."

Mystic Falls...here I come.
