Chapter 3 For You

"What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to torment you kids." I smirked
"Kids?" she scoffed
"How are you?"
"Peachy keen." she faked a smile
"That's good. Now how are you, really?"
She sighed and sat down.
"Ugh." she slammed her head to the table. "I'm horrible."
"Why? What's wrong?"
"I can't go to college."
"It seems like you went to college. The people there seem to really like you."
Her head shot up at that.
"You went to my freaking college?!"
She smacked me on the arm and I laughed.
"I was trying to find you."
"That doesn't mean that you have to embarrass me! Gah!"
"I didn't. I just compelled it out of some people."
"Compelled?" she smacked my arm again. "Compelled what?"
"Where you were. I only compelled two people."
"What d you ask them?"
"Where you were, if they knew you, etc."
"What did they say?"
"Interested?"
"Yes!"
"What do you think they told me?" I could tell she was afraid of what they said.
"I...I don't know."
I smirked.
"They told me you didn't go there anymore because of an issue at home."
"Is that all?"
"They told me that Tyler and you broke up." I met her eyes
"Yeah. I just...I don't know." she shrugged
"You don't have to explain to me love." I smirked
"You're loving this aren't you?" she glared at me
"Maybe." I smirked
"Well it doesn't change anything." she got up but I grabbed her arm.
"It changes everything love."
"No...it doesn't."
"Caroline..."
"No Klaus. You can't just come back after all of these months and expect me to fall all over you. Not that I did that before you left."
"You tried not to."
"I didn't!" she snapped
"Whatever you say love."
"Whatever. What are you doing here?"
Now were getting to the point.
"I'm here for you, Caroline."
She seemed shocked
"W...What?"
"You heard me, love. I'm here for you. I still want you."
She scoffed "You just want to get into my pants."
"Yes. But I also want you. As a person. I told you before love. You're beautiful,strong, full of light. I enjoy you." I smirked
She started to speak but I cut her off.
"And don't say that you're spoken for because I know that you are not."
"I wasn't going to say that." she smiled
"What were you going to say?" I leaned into her on the table further.
"I was going to say that you're full of shit."
I glared at her. "You don't believe me."
"How could I believe you? You all of a sudden show up here after months and expect me to believe that you came back for me and to fall all over you."
"It's true. All of it."
"Yeah, sure." she rolled her eyes
"Caroline..."
"Look what the wolf dragged in." Damon had come over with Elena.
"Hello Damon. Doppelgänger."
"Klaus. What are you doing here?"
"I'm here for Caroline." My eyes flashed to her face and back.
"Ha good luck with that." Damon rolled his eyes at me.
"I think you underestimate me Damon. I'm capable of doing many things." I smirked
"I noticed. Killing people, siring people, annoying people..."
"Eh I've heard worse."
"So how long are you staying?"
"A while. A long while."
Damon turned to Caroline.
"Well Barbie have fun with that. Elena lets go."
Elena spoke. " No. I'm not leaving her."
"Lena I'm fine. Go." Caroline nodded
"Call me."
"See you later." she gave her a reassuring smile
"They think that I would actually hurt you."
"You have hurt me. You've hurt the people that I love. Then you left."
"I'm not leaving again Caroline." I grabbed her arm. " You might deny me but you can't deny that you missed me." I smirked
She pulled away. "Oh yes I can."
"Caroline..."
"Don't Caroline me. Goodbye Klaus." she walked outside and I followed.
"Come on love."
"Klaus. Stop following me!"
She walked across the street and then sped away. This was going to take awhile. She would admit her feelings someday, I just had to be patient. Something that I was not very good at.
