Chapter 9 Happy?

Soooooo sorry. I've been working on my other book Giving In and so I haven't had time but I will be continuing this story, I just have to decide where's it's going. This is a Klaroline story in Klaus's POV and Giving In is mostly in Caroline's so if you haven't read my other story 👉go read it👉,it's awesome 😛

I woke up smiling. Caroline wanted me. Me. All I ever wanted was finally coming true. I wasn't going to do anything to mess it up.

Knock Knock

My ears perked up at the unexpected knock. I heard the door close. Uh?

"Klaus!"

I smiled. Id know that voice anywhere.

"Klaus!"

She came in, her eyes scanning the room.

"Klaus?"

I flew up from behind her and we landed on my bed with my hands pinning hers above her head.

She was out of breath.

"Hi." I smiled.

"You scared me!"

"Sorry love."

"You should be! Why'd you jump me anyway?"

"So that I could do this."

'This' was leaning down to her soft mouth to kiss her. It took a minute but her lips finally began to move softly against mine, parting slightly.

She smiled."Mmm you should jump me more often."

"Ill work on that." I smiled.

She looked at my mouth and back up to my eyes and I realized that our position was not expected. I had her hands trapped in mine above her head and a knee on each side of her. I wanted to kiss her again and I should have taken this opportunity, but she wanted to take it slow, and I wouldn't rush her. I looked into her eyes once more and internally groaned before I lifted off of her.

She was having none of that. She grabbed around my waist and pushed me down on the bed so that she was straddling me. She kissed me and now that she was setting the pace, I kissed her back with all that I had.

She broke away and the desire was there in her eyes.

"Why'd you not kiss me? You don't want me?"

"Sweetheart that is not the reason at all. You have no idea how much I want you."

"I think I have some idea." She bit her lip and glanced down at the space between us.

I groaned. "I just know that you want to take things slow. And I owe that to you but I don't want to kiss you too much because ill want more and I don't want to rush you."

"Klaus, I do want to go slow because of the baby and your life in New Orleans but whatever happens, happens."

"Caroline..."

"Don't think, Klaus. Just kiss me."

And I did.

"So now that you finally admitted that you want me...what now?"

"Let's just take it one step at a time."

"Agreed. But we will talk."

She smiled. "Yes, we will."

"Good. Now. Breakfast?"

"Are you sure the Grill is up to your standards?" She laughed.

"Yes, love. It will do.
