Aftermath

  I sobbed for awhile after Balz left, then managed to collect myself. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called Chris.

Chris: Hello, my beautiful bride.

Alice: Chris? I... I need to tell you something...

Chris: (hesitantly) Yes?

Alice: Before I tell you, you have to promise me you won't be mad at me, I promise I didn't do anything, I promise you. I love you so much.

Chris: ...What are you talking about?

Alice: Promise me.

Chris: Alright, I promise. Now explain.

Alice: Balz and I, we were watching a movie, just chillin, and he (starts crying) he kissed me...

Chris: No. He didn't. He wouldn't.

Alice: I'm so sorry baby you know I would never do anything with him I promise you I didn't but he kissed me... I'm so sorry!

Chris: ...Go calm down. Relax. Tomorrow is a big day. I'll handle it. (hangs up)

***Chris's POV***

  I hung up the phone with Alice while Angelo gave me a weird look. "Everything okay?" He asked me, noticing the look of pure rage on my face. I violently shook my head no, balling my hands into fists. "He kissed her." I spat out between gritted teeth.

"Huh?"

"Balz fucking kissed Alice."

"No fucking way. He would never."

"Would and did."

  Angelo stood up off the couch and grabbed his car keys. "Well let's fucking go." he said. I snatched his keys from him. "You've been drinking. I'm driving." I growled, and he submitted.

  We sped to Balz's house, but he wasn't there yet. "What do you wanna do?" Angelo asked me as I punched the dashboard. "Gimme your phone." I demanded, and he handed it over.

Angelo(Chris): Hey man, hows Alice doing?

Balz: shes good, were watchng a movie

Angelo(Chris): awesome

Balz: ya shes so happy about 2moro

  My rage grew with every response. After a few more minutes, Balz's car pulled into the driveway, and he got out of the car. I was about to get out when Angelo put one hand on my arm. "Don't kill him Chris." I shook him off of me and climbed out.

  "Hey, Balz!" I yelled. He turned around. "Oh hey, I just had to grab something I forgot." he lied. I raised one eyebrow. "Oh, like your dignity? Your honor? Your loyalty?!" My voice got louder with every word.

  He stared at me for a moment, then realized I knew. "Oh shit." He turned to run, but I tackled him to the ground. "Wait wait wait before I get beat I just-" I ignored him and punched him in the nose.

  I yelled, "You kissed my fucking fiancée!!!", punching him on every word. He didn't even try to defend himself as I broke his nose while I jammed my knee into his ribs, hoping they broke as well. He knew he deserved it.

  After what felt like infinity, but was really only another minute, Angelo pulled me off of Balz. "You're gonna fucking kill him!" Angelo yelled at me. "Good!" I spat at Balz. "Burn in hell, Balz! Fuck you!" I screamed as Angelo dragged me back to the car.

  He shoved me into the car, and I noticed Balz was in a ball on the grass. I smiled bitterly. Angelo threw my phone at me. "Alice called you. Talk to her." He told me.

  I sighed and looked at my phone. I wasn't as angry as before, but I didn't want to accidentally slip and go off on Alice. She didn't do anything wrong, she didn't deserve it. I decided to call her anyways, she needs me.

Alice: Hello...?

Chris: Hey beautiful. How are you holding up?

Alice: I'm... not okay... I feel like it was all my fault... (crying) I'm so sorry Chris!

Chris: (sighing) Baby it's okay, it's not your fault. I know you didn't do anything wrong. I'm not mad at you, I promise.

Alice: You sound tired, you should sleep.

Chris: Nah. Just saw Balz.

Alice: What did you do...?

Chris: I showed him why you stay loyal to your friends and have some respect.

Alice: (sighing) Yeah, he deserved it... I should've punched him when I had the chance.

Chris: Do you want Ryan to go over and keep you company? I would, but I kinda can't...

Alice: ...No. No I'm okay. I don't really trust people other than you right now.

Chris: I get that. I love you, Alice. See you at the altar.

Alice: I love you too Chris.
