Chapter 6: Treat

Chaeyoung's POV

"You should be careful next time mina" I said while I smiled to her

"Yeah. My bad haha" she replied a bit embarass

Aww she is so cute, I wish I could just pinch her cheeks. My heart beats so fast again. Why are you doing this to me mina? I can't take this anymore. Then suddenly her phone vibrates, I think someone is calling her.

"Please excuse for a minute" she said and I just nodded

After few minutes she came back

"I need to go home now. Thank you again about earlier" she said showing her gummy smile. It's the first time I saw her smiled like that.

'Oh, how I love that smile'

"Oh okay sure, you're welcome" I then smiled back and then she immediately walk away. I think she is in a hurry, so I also made my way to my home.

Mina's POV

After a few conversation with chaeyoung my mom called telling me to go home cause she has something to tell me. So I bid my goodbye to chaeyoung and gone home.

When I entered at our house I saw my mom and dad at the living room sitting at the couch.

"Hi mom, Hi dad" the I kiss them on the cheeks and sit beside them

"So what are you going to say mom?" I asked her immediately

"Okay. So, honey, me and your dad is going on a business trip tomorrow" mom said.

Eh? Tomorrow? That's so sudden

"Ohh"

"We will be on a business trip for 1 week. Will you be alright living in this house alone for 1 week?" Dad asked

I don't know, But maybe in that way it will me help to become more independent.

"Uh yes. I'll be fine here alone" I replied

"Are you sure? I mean we can hire some maids for just 1 week--" I cut mom off

"No, mom. I'll be fine really." I said reassuring them that I'll be fine.

"Okay honey, if you say so. Now go get yourself change and come down after that we'll have dinner together." Dad said

"Arasseo" then I stood up and went to my room upstairs. When I get to my room I immediately change my clothes. I'm wearing a pajama and a white shirt and went downstairs for dinner.

At the dinner, we just talk about what happened today at school and I told them that my phone got snatched but luckily my classmate caught the guy and had my phone back. I can see in their expressions that they are really worried but relieved when I said nothing bad had happened to me. They also said that I should invite chaeyoung for dinner next time, but I don't think so, we're not even close yet.

And after dinner I went upstairs and flopped on my bed. I'm so tired.

About what happened earlier, chaeyoung is so cool. Daebak.

Hmmmm. What should I do to repay her?

Ah! Maybe I should treat her for some snacks after school? And also to get to know her better? Yes, maybe I should do that.

Chaeyoung's POV

'Wow! You're so cool earlier chaeyoung-ah'

I keep on complimenting myself because I manage to get mina's phone from that snatcher earlier.

I keep on smiling remembering about what happened. And also that was the first time I saw Mina smiled at me, daebak! I can't forget her smile. This is the best day ever!

Well not for Mina cause she almost lost her phone, lol.

When I get home I saw unnie at the living room again, watching tv

"Hi unnie" I said with a wide smile

"Hello chaeng, looks like you're in a good mood" She said and I nodded still smiling widely

Yes unnie. I'm really on a good mood because I got the chance to talk to mina and even hold her soft hands.

"Aigoo. Did you get the chance to talk with your crush?" She asked while laughing

Eh? Is she a mind reader?

"No, of course not. It's just that I'm really on a good mood."

"Oh okay then."

"Where's mom?" I asked her while looking around the house but there's no sign of mom.

"Ah she left. She said she'll buy some groceries"

"Oh okay. I'll go upstairs, and tell mom I'm not going to eat dinner, cause I'm full" I said and she nodded then I headed upstairs and go to my room and flopped on my bed.

Ughhh! This day is so tiring af. But what happened earlier is maybe a good start for me and mina to get closer. Just maybe.

I hope so.

*next morning
I woke up with the sound of my phones alarm. And I do my daily routine.

After I dressed up, I went downstairs and eat breakfast with my mom and unnie, dad is still not here. Mom said he'll be home this evening.

We just have a few conversations and after that I bid my goodbye to them and headed to my school, I'm excited I don't know why, Lol.

I'm not that early because many student is at our school already and same in our room.

I immediately walk to my seat and look at Mina's direction and she just smiled to me and I smiled back. Damn, that smile is making me crazy.

'Hellppp!' Ff

Then few minutes later our teacher came and started he's lesson.

Nothing much happened the whole period though and at lunch I didn't have the chance to ask her again at luch cause she had a call, and I think it's important.

The school ended, with nothing really special happened. And I was walking alone again cause tzuyu said she had something to do and same to dahyun.

Then I heard someone called my name from the back and when I turn to see who is it.

"Chaeyoung-ah!" She said while running towards my direction

"Mi-mina?" I was a bit shock because she talked to me.

"Umm. Hey, I would like to invite you for an early dinner. Just to thank you for what happened yesterday" she said

"My treat" she added then smiled
