Chapter 17: Awkward

"I like you"

Mina got startled and shock at the same time. She don't know what to react or to say, she was speechless, she don't know what's her feelings towards Chaeyoung

"Ch-Chaeyoung-ah.. I--" Mina couldn't finish her sentence because Chaeyoung cut her off.

Chaeyoung let out a deep sigh

"Mina. I like you since the day that we've first met and I'm glad that we became friends, I thought that this feeling would just go away as the time pass by but I was wrong. I like you even more but you don't need to say anything. I just want to let you know on how I feel about you, and I'm not expecting for you to like me back. And I hope this confession won't end our friendship. Let's not be awkward to each other. Please."

Mina is still speechless Chaeyoung was waiting for her reply but Mina is just looking at her

"Now. Let's sleep. Good Night" Chaeyoung said and smiled bitterly. She left Mina outside, she left Mina dumbfounded.

"What the hell was that?" Mina asked herself

'I'm sorry chaeyoung-ah. I still don't know what I feel towards you, I'm still figuring it out. But why did my heart beats so fast when you confessed to me?' Mina said to herself and sighed 'maybe someday I'll figure it out but for now... I still don't know' Mina went inside

On the other side

"I knew it! I knew she don't feel the same. I shouldn't have told her that. You're so careless chaeyoung-ah! Arghhhh!" Chaeyoung said and flopped to the bed. She's sleeping in her mom's bedroom, her mom isn't home so she decided to sleep there.

"You're so dumb" chaeyoung said to herself and closed her eyes and drifted to sleep

--------morning-----

Chaeyoung woke up first before the others so she decided to prepare breakfast for them.

The others woke up, right on time Chaeyoung finished preparing breakfast.

They're talking while eating breakfast but Mina and Chaeyoung are just silent and Tzuyu noticed that but just shrugged it off and there it goes again, it became silent all of a sudden then Tzuyu just keep on glancing at Mina and Chaeyoung, she knew something's going on between these two. Maybe the others didn't notice because they're busy eating.

Chaeyoung suddenly stood up and brought her plates to the sink.

The others looked at her but then continued eating, Tzuyu is still looking at Chaeng

"You done eating?" Tzuyu asked chaeyoung

"Yeah" chaeyoung replied and Tzuyu nodded. Chaeyoung went upstairs. Tzuyu continued eating but she can see Mina looking at Chae going upstairs and sighed, Tzuyu noticed that but she just shook her head.

"Just leave those plates there, I'll be washing it later" chaeyoung shouted upstairs

The others finished eating and leave their plates there, just like what chaeyoung said. They went to the living room and decided to continue studying. Tzuyu couldn't focus, she's still bothered about what happen to Chaeyoung and Mina. She wants to ask Mina but it would be better if she'll ask Chaeyoung since they're more close cause they're best friends remember.

Tzuyu's POV

I should ask chaeyoung about what's going on here. Did she confessed already? Or what?

I went to the kitchen since she's there washing those plates

"Hey" I said getting her attention
