Chapter 7: Early Dinner

Chaeyoung's POV

"Umm. Hey, I would like to invite you for an early dinner. Just to thank you for what happened yesterday" Mina said

"My treat" she added

Wait.. What? Is she inviting me for dinner? Or did I heard it wrong

"Dinner?" I asked her cause I ain't really sure about this

"Uhm yes." She replied

Omygod! Is this for real? She is actually inviting me for a dinner, I mean Early dinner.

'Keep calm chaeyoung-ah don't act like you're very happy she might find you weird'

"Oh sure" I said

"Great! Let's go? I know a restaurant that has a really delicious foods" she said and I nodded

We are just walking since the restaurant that she suggest earlier is just few meters away from our school, no one's talking while we are walking it was really awkward though, no one dares to speak until we reached the restaurant.

"Good afternoon ma'am" greeted the waiter

"Are there any available table, good for two right now?" Mina asked cause there are so many people right now almost all tables are occupied

"Yes ma'am. Its over there" the waiter said pointing to an unoccupied table and mina said thanks and we walk towards the unoccupied table and we sit there.

We started to look at the menu, but I was so distracted by the beauty of mina that I can't even focus on my own menu.

Then she look at me so I immediately look away and pretended that I am still looking at my menu

"So have you decided what to eat?" She asked

"Ahh Actually no. I'm confused since all the foods here in the menu looks delicious" I said then she chuckled

"Yes you're right. All the foods here are delicious"

Wahh. She looks so adorable when she chuckled

"Have you decided?" I asked her

"Yes. Actually I noticed you looking at me for few minutes" she said

Wait? What? Omygod! Really?! Damn it! I'm so doomed, I hate myself.

"A-a--" before I could say anything the waiter came

"So what's your order ma'am?" The waiter asked me. Omygod! What should I order?

"Ahhh" Before I could say anything Mina cut me off

"We'll have bulgogi (fire meat) and bibimbap (mixed rice)" she said and smiled

"Oh okay ma'am, noted" then he bows amd leave.

Damn. I had myself embarass to mina again. Wae?!

Then there's silence it was really awkward for me though. Then suddenly Mina broke the silence

"Don't feel too awkward. It's okay" she said and give me a warm smile.

Ughh! I might fall for her. Wait. What? No no no. Eraseeee!

"Ahhh hehe okay" I said a bet embarass.

Few minutes later our food is served and we started to dig in. The food is really delicious though, there were silence while we're eating and I can feel the awkward atmosphere. So I cleared my throat first and started a conversation.

"Uhmm so Mina. Do you come here often?" I asked her

"Actually yes. I come here often with my family" she replied

Ohh. That's why she's kinda used to it.

"Ahh okay"

"You?" She asked me

"Ahh actually It's my first time here. You're the first person who brought me here" I said to her. And it's true, I have never been in this restaurant before, she is the first person who brought me here.

I've been in different restaurants but not here.

"Ahhh. Wae?" She asked

"Uhmm I don't know either haha" then she laugh a little. I would love to see those laugh everyday.

Mina's POV

In dinner, we just talk about few things, share some jokes, like that. I feel so comfortable when I'm with her, she is so nice. But I felt weird when she stared at me for a few minutes earlier but I just shrugged it off

After dinner, I paid the bills as I said I'll treat her.

"Thank you for this early dinner mina-ya" She said and give me her sweetest smile showing her dimples

"You're welcome and also thank you about yesterday" I replied

We are now walking out of the reataurant, we're heading home.

"The food there is no joke. It's really good" She said and I felt relieved that she likes the food there

"I know right. You should come there often"

"Yeah haha"

Then a car stops infront of us.

"Ohh my drivers already here. Do you want a ride?" I asked her since it's already night, it's kinda dangerous to walk alone

"Ah no I'm fine I can walk home" she said and looked at her watch "it's just 6:30 pm. I can walk home alone" she added and smiled

Hmm I don't think so. Still it's dark on the streets ahead.

"Are you sure?" I'm kinda worried

"Yes I'm sure. You can go now"

"Okay then. We'll keep going" I said and she nodded and I told the driver to start the engine cause were going.

We are now heading home. I keep on thinking about that early dinner earlier

'Not bad' I said to myself
