Yaris

I called my boss to let him know that I wouldn’t be in for a few days. It was Monday, and I needed to handle my business with the insurance company and go shopping for new furniture. I woke up to Daniel’s heavy snoring. As much as I hate people that snore, I can’t help find so sexy on him. I kissed him on the lips and watched him scrunch his face up. I chuckled and got up out of bed, and went over to my bag to get my toothbrush and bodywash. I got to Dan’s linen closet to get a towel and a washcloth. I turned the water on, stripped down, put my hair in a bun and entered the shower. I stood there for a minute and let my mind wander before I actually washed myself. What if the people, who broke in come back? What if they were out to get me? Why’d they break into my apartment out of all the others? What did they want? I thought as I was washing myself. “Ugh!” I sighed, stepping out of the shower, wrapping the towel around my body. I made my way to the sink to brush my teeth, when I felt Dan’s arm wrap around my waist, causing me to jump. “Girl, what you all jumpy for?” he asked, kissing my earlobe and neck. “Mmm nahp buse to izz” I said, with a mouthful of spit and toothpaste.  He gave me a stank look. “I’m sorry I don’t understand toothpathnese you’ll have to speak English with me.” he said. I spit the toothpaste out and turned back to him. “I said I’m use to this, that’s all.” I said, putting my toothbrush back in my mouth. “Oh well get use to it then.” he said, pulling on one of my curls and went to the toilet. “Eww, you gonna just pee right in front of me like I’m not right here.” I said, giving him a stank face. “I mean it ain’t like you don’t know what it look like.” he said, smirking at me. “Whatever, I’m leaving.” I said, walking out the bathroom. About 3 seconds later he tackled me to the bed and started tickling me. “STOP DANIEL STOP! Ay Dios mios!” I screamed. He hovered over and bound both of my hands above my head. “Now call me daddy.” he demanded. “Daddy! Papi! Stop tickling me.” I screamed. He smiled and kissed my lips softly, then went to get up. I grabbed him and attacked his lips. “See what you started.” I said, in between kisses. “Yeah, now I’m about to finish it.” he replied, ripping my towel off of my body. “Yes you will.” I said, laughing.

*45 minutes later*

"Alright, I gotta go. I should be back later tonight." I said, sliding up my jeans. "Where you going?" he said, sitting up in bed. "I have to go to straighten things out with my insurance company and then go shopping for new furniture." I said putting on my shirt. "Oh alright, call me if you need anything." he said. "Actually, I need you to give me a ride back to my apartment building, I need to get my car." I said, getting my overnight bag together. "Oh yeah, right." he said, getting his clothes on. "Grab that spare key on the hook by the door." he said, walking out the door. Once I did that, we took the elevator down to the garage and were off.

Diggy

It was a little after 2 when I dropped Yaris off, and I didn’t have anything to do until I go off to the studio with Spin. So I was driving around wasting gas. My stomach growled so I decided to stop at McDonald’s. I parked and walked in, and it wasn’t full for a change. I placed my order and waited for it. The cashier handed me food on a tray. I thanked her and went to take a seat in the back of the restaurant. I demolished that food in what seemed like 2 bites. I got up, through away my garbage and placed my tray away. I went to the soda machine to refill my cup. I thanked the cashier once more then made my way to the exit. As I push the revolving door open BAM! I look over and see a woman on the floor. “Oh Shit! What the hell did I just do?” I said aloud. I looked around and a few people stopped to see if she was okay. “Oh my heavens, is she still breathing?” a lady asked. I looked down and saw her motionless, with her hair covering her face “I don’t know, I’ll check.” I said, bending down. I moved her hair out and turned her head and my heart dropped.

The girl from the casino! Aww damn! I cursed myself. “Well is she breathing? Should I call an ambulance?” the lady said, pulling out her phone. “No, it’s okay. I’ll take her to the ER myself.” I said, cradling her head on my chest, picking her up. “Alright young man. I hope she’s okay. Don’t forget her keys, she must have dropped them when she got hit.” the lady said, handing them to me. “Thank You ma’am.” I said, taking the keys and walking fast to my car. I clicked my key to open the doors. I opened the passenger side, gently placed her in the seat and buckled her in. I stopped and admired her for a second. She looked so peaceful, even though she was unconscious. She didn’t have any makeup on, from the last time I saw her. Some hair fell on her face again, and I moved it out of the way and seen a small lump forming on her left temple. Shit! I need to get her some ice. I thought. I got in the driver’s side and drove off. I was not about to take her to the ER, for them to look at me as a suspect. So I made a U-turn, trying not to jerk her around in the car and drove off to my house. I took a glance at her and she was still her little peaceful state, and I couldn’t help but smile to myself. I guess I’m gonna find out her name after all.
