Guadalupe's POV
I was sitting in mommy and daddy's room for a long time, I hear weird noises downstairs and I don't know what's going on but I want to find out.
I get up but mommy and daddy rush into the room and lock it.
“Mommy Daddy” I run up to them and hug them.
“Hi honey listen I need you to sit down and stay quiet ok?” Mommy says to me.
“Ok?”
I sit down again wondering what's going on. I look up to see my mommy getting something from under the mattress.
“Mommy?”
“Yes baby?” She looks up
“Is everything ok?”
“Sweetie just listen to me and daddy and you'll be ok promise?”
“Ok promise.”
The door downstairs starts knocking loudly startling me.
“Here Max give it to her” Mommy says and daddy hands me a small bag.
“Here princess take this with you ok.” I take the bag and look at it.
“What is it?”
The door downstairs sounded like it broke. Daddy runs over and moves the big cabinet that's in the way. It shows a tiny door.
“Daddy what is that?”
He opens the tiny door.
“This is a way for you to escape”
Esca-..someone is knocking the bedroom door loudly, mommy and daddy sit beside me holding me tightly.
“Princess just know that we love you and that we want you safe away from here.” Daddy says.
“Sweetie just know that you are the best thing that ever happened to us and whatever happens to us we will always have you in our mind and hearts.” Mommy says.
The door knocks louder and louder.
“Come on princess get in here.” Daddy says as he quickly pushes me into the little hole where the door is.
“Come on out you bastards!” A deep voice says outside the door.
“What do you want from us Ricky we never did anything to you!” Daddy says loudly.
The door breaks and the big man enters the room and he has a..gun.
“You owe me big time Max and you too Francine” The man says.
Mommy gets close to me “Sweetie go run.”
“Ahh Francine is that your daughter.”
“Do not get close Ricky or else.”
“Or else what?”
Daddy comes and stabs the man in the back. The man turns around and pushes daddy away, mommy then jumps on the man punching his face.
“Lupe go run!” Daddy says to me.
The man's gun makes a weird sound and my daddy freezes for a while and I see blood on his shirt, I tear up looking at my daddy he goes to his knees and falls to the ground not moving.
“Daddy?” I look at him and he doesn't move.
“Guad go sweetie” Mommy says as she keeps punching the man. The man grabs mommy and she freezes for a minute, she looks at me and says “Lupe go, Mommy and Daddy love you” She says as a tear slides down her face and she falls.
Tears slide down my face and I look up at the man who is kicking my mommy, he looks at me but I slide down the little area and leave. I run away crying not thinking about what just happened or why.
Ricky's POV
I look around these idiots room to look up their daughter. I look out the window to see that she is running away and headed straight to the woods.
“One day I will find you.” I say to myself.
I grab my stuff and leave knowing that the day will come and I'll get my hands on that brat to finish off the misuary they put me through. I look back one more time to see Francine all bloody and gone.
“You'll pay for this you son of bitch” I say roughly and kick her one last time and leave.
