Chapter 5

Guadalupe's POV

Me and the girls were having a blast, we were swimming in the lake, well me and Bailee were Sophia and Monica were soaking up some sun. We swam for a half hour until we got out and dried up.

“Hey” I said to the both of them

“Hey” Sophia said

“Wanna swim?” I asked

“No” Monica said

“Well I wanna learn” Sophia said

Sophia's POV

Reason I wanna learn how to swim is cause I'm 18 years old and the girls sometimes make fun of me for not knowing how to swim.

“Well come on I'll show you it's really easy” Guad said

“Ok hopefully I don't die” I said sarcastically

“Relax you'll be fine” she said

We walked down the small path leading to the lake and Guad walks into the water and I followed shortly after. As I walk into the water I felt some slippery rocks beneath but I keep my balance until I slipped bring Guad down with me in the process

“Are you ok?” Guad asked looking at me

“Yea these stupid rocks made me fall” I said

“Yea they are, just grab my hand we're almost to the water anyway” Guad said as she helped me up. As we get closer the water reaches down to my waist then up to my chest and slowly afterwards to my neck

“Wow this water is a bit deep” I said

“Yea but kick your feet so you can keep floating” she said. I kick my feet and she slowly let's go of my hand and I'm floating. “See wasn't so hard” she said

After an hour or 2 of swimming we figured it was time to get out and get food that Bailee cooked and prepared for us.

“So how was the swim?” She asked

“Well I fell” I said laughing

“But she did a good job” Guad said smiling

“Yea” I said with a thumbs up

Guadalupe's POV

After we ate we decided to go hiking up the trail, and let me tell you it was the worst mistake we ever made. Mosquitos were everywhere.

“Gosh Bailee can you go any faster these mosquitoes are killing me” Monica said as she swats away near by mosquitos

“Relax Monica plus blame Guad for not bringing the bug spray” Bailee said

“Well excuuuse meeee princess sorry I forgot” I said getting a bit aggravated

“Finally we're here at the top!” Bailee said as she reaches the top first then me then Sophia then lastly Monica

We stare out in the distance of this amazing view. Amazing hill tops with many trees adoring on the hilltops and the lake in between and a beautiful sunset.

“Wow” we all said in awe

We each pull out or phones and take pictures of the beauty in front of us. We decide to sit down and have a conversation.

“This view is amazing” I said

“It really is” Sophia said as she takes another picture
