7 years later..
Guadalupe's POV
“And that class is how photosynthesis helps the plant grow and- Guad..Guad hey Guad…”
“Huh..”
“Are you with me”
“Actually sir can I go the bathroom?”
“Alright make it quick”
“Thank you”
Gosh 7th grade science is so stressful, I'm glad I got out. I walk to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror, gosh I look like a disaster. My hair is up in a messy bun, my eyes look puffy along with lack of sleep but I can't stop thinking of the day...the day I saw my parents….die….why did they get shot?..What did they do wrong? Why? I'll probably ask Aunt Lucy maybe she knows. At least I hope I can.
------
As I walk home to my aunts and uncles house can't help but keep thinking about my parents. I walk into the house and look around, it's quiet….a little to quiet, I walk around for a bit and see a note on the counter.
Dear Guad sorry for the inconvenience but me and your uncle are working late tonight there's some left over pizza in the fridge remember to do your chores and be in bed by 10.
~ Love Auntie Lucy
Again...they always work late. Ever since I moved in with my aunt and uncle it's been weird, they always work late and basically never had time for me. I walk upstairs to my room and sit on my bed and grab my guitar and started playing, its something my therapist recommend and so far I love it. After a little while of playing I look over at the bag that my father handed me back then. I got up and grabbed the bag and looked at the letter it read.
DON'T OPEN UNTIL YOUR 17
Great can't open it for another 4 years, oh well it can wait. I have a lot of questions that need answers. Why did my parents get shot? What did that guy mean that they owe him? Who was he? What did he want? So many questions and such a long time to open this letter.
“Guess I'll have to wait on you” I say to myself as I stare at the letter.
------ Next Day ------
I was walking outside cause coach bought everyone from PE outside cause weather is getting nice and from the looks of it, it really is.
I walk around but I keep noticing these three girls staring at me every so often. They look to be around my age one of them is a tall girl with bleach blonde hair and bright blue sapphire eyes, a girl with curly brown hair and beautiful light brown eyes, and a short girl with ombre curly hair and stunning hazel eyes.
I went and sat on the hard concrete bleachers cause god forbid this school can remake these bleachers. After a minute or so I look up to see these girls.
“Can I help you?” I ask them nicely
“We thought we stop by you look lonely” said the girl with curly brown hair
“Well I've always been this way” I say
“Well you could talk to us ok?” said the girl with bright blonde hair
I look up at them and smile softly
“There's a smile” said the girl with ombre hair
