Tied Up

Chapter 7

Monica's POV

It has been two days since Guad was gone from us. Two days more like two years but life has been miserable without her. We decided to go to the police and see if they can do anything. So far nothing has happened and we're slowly losing hope.

Bailee decided to go to Grayson's apartment for some love and comfort while me and Sophia go to my house and sit around on our phones. I stare at the picture I took of the van, I try to make out some of the plate number but couldn't cause it's so blurry. I look over a Sophia and she looks kind of depressed, I sneakily look at her phone and she's looking at the selfie we took.

“Why you being so nosey” She said as she pulls the phone away from my sight

“I ain't being nosey I was just curious” I said

“Uh-huh” she said

I get a text on my phone and it's from Ethan. Ethan Grant Dolan, the guy I have a crush on. A really big crush, like so big that I would probably pass out if he said yes or if he asked me out.

I read the text

Hey just wanted to check up on you I hope you're doing ok after everything that happened with Guad.

t's nice that he cares. I texted him back

Yea everything is ok but it still hurts that Guad isn't here with us.

Hey everything ok, Guad will come through. Also can I come to your house I need to tell you something important.

Omg omg omg omg!

“Girl!” I said as I smile at my phone.

“What, what's wrong is everything ok?” Sophia asks. I show her the phone and she claps happily.

“Omg girl is he coming over now?” She asked

“Maybe I don't know” I said

The door knocks downstairs. Oh my gosh he's here

“Sophia he's here, what do I do” I said with a small panic in my voice

“Relax ok just be you and I'll be here and your room” she said

I nodded and went downstairs to open the door.

“Heyy Ethan” I said smiling

“Hey Monica” he said. Omg his voice and smile gets me every time

“Come in and have a seat” I said. He walks in and sits down on my couch

“So what did you have to tell me?” I asked as I sat down next to him. I feel him scoot a bit closer to me

“Well I'm sure Bailee told you about it before you went out camping” he said

“She did say you have something to say to me” I said. I kept looking at his arms but kept on focusing on his chiseled face.

“Well we've been friends for a while now and I think your really cute” he said as he slowly wraps his arm around me. I blush slightly and look at him.

“Monica King will you be my” he holds my hand, “Will you be my girlfriend?” he asks. I have a small panic attack in my head as I process the question. He's asking me out. Me out of all the girls in the school we go to he asks me. I look at him

“Yes, a thousand times yes” I said with a smile. He smiled back and kisses me on the cheek.

A couple of minutes pass of us talking about anything that came into mind, but sadly he had to leave and I walk upstairs to my room.
