Lucy heartfilia

My name is Lucy Heartfilia. I joined fairy tail at the age of 18. I haven't been here too long. Everyone in the guild is great. I have my best friend Natsu Dragneel and Levy McGarden. Oh and I can't forget happy the cat. We returned from Edolas just a few days ago. The whole guild threw a party that last at least a day. I'm so happy for Mira and Elfman. They finally have their sister lisanna back. But why do I get this feeling something bad is going to happen.

Me and natsu have been dating for a couple months now and he's always by my side. Ever since lisanna got back he's been ignoring me. I get it though. They were childhood friends and he thought she died. The whole guild thought she died.

I'll just give it some time maybe things will go back to normal. It's been a month now since lisanna returned. She's been tagging along on missions with us. I don't mind it at all. Lisanna is strong fierce and loyal. I can see the admiration in natsus eyes when he looks at her.

I was at my house working on my novel when happy flew in through the window. "Use the door!" I yelled at him. "Sorry lushy." He says with his sad eyes making me feel bad. "It's ok happy. Hey where's natsu?" I ask realizing he's not here.

"That's why I came over here." Happy explains. "I haven't seen natsu all morning. He wasn't at the house when I woke up. He wasn't at the guild when I went to look. I don't know where he is." He says with worry on his face and in his voice.

"Don't worry we'll find him happy." I reassured with a smile. I grabbed my keys as we headed out the door. We walked all over magnolia but couldn't find him. "Let's go look at the park. It's the only place we haven't looked." Happy says landing on my shoulder. So we headed to the park in search of natsu.

We made it to the park and looked around. There wasn't that many people there today so it should be easy to find him. We walked around the park making it to the middle we're the beautiful cheery blossom tree is. "We can't find him anywhere." Happy said dejectedly. "Don't worry happy we'll find him." I said.

We heard a woman giggle behind the tree so we peeked our heads around it. Sitting there on a bench was natsu and...lisanna? What are they doing? Natsu was holding her hand and caressing her cheek while she blushed furiously.

"Come on what do you say?" Natsu whispered seductively. Lisanna giggled and grabbed her face in her hands. "Yes natsu yes that would make me so happy!" She squealed in excitement. "I can't believe it we're finally dating!" She hugged him tightly. When they pulled away natsu kissed her on the lips.

My jaw hit the floor. How could he ask out someone when he's dating me? Why would he do this to me? Does he not love me anymore? I thought to myself as tears fell down my face. I turned and ran back to my apartment. I threw open the door and ran to my bed falling on it and crying my eyes out.

Why natsu? Why would you hurt me like this? What did I do to make you cheat on me? I cried and cried until Happy came through my window. "Come on Lucy let's go to the guild. Maybe Levy is there. That will make you happy right?" He said looking sadly at me.

I wiped my tears and sat up. "Yeah. I guess your right. Maybe it was a misunderstanding. Maybe I heard wrong." We left my apartment again heading for the guild. When we got there I pushed open the door.

When I walked in I had to jump out of the way because someone sent natsu flying toward me. "Ahh" I screamed as I jumped out of the way. I turned and looked at natsu sliding down the wall. I rushed to his side. "Natsu! Are you ok?" I ask helping him up. He shook off my arm and glared past me.

"What the hell was that for ice princess!?" He screamed at gray. "What do you mean what was that for?" Gray retaliated. "Did you just conveniently forget you've been dating Lucy these past three months?" Everyone's eyes widened. I didn't know what was going on.

Does this have to do with what I saw in the park yesterday? I thought to myself. Levy walked up and slapped natsu in the face. Everyone was shocked.
"Gihi." Gajeel chuckled. He had been trying to get Levy stronger.

"How could you do that to lu-chan!!" She screamed with tears in her eyes. "She loves you and your going to throw her away like yesterday's trash?!" Everyone in the guild was mad. Tears were stinging my eyes but I refused to let them fall.

"Natsu! You didn't tell me you were already dating Lucy!" Lisanna screamed. She turned and saw me standing there. She rushed to my side and grabbed both my hands in hers. "Lucy I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed. "I had no idea y'all was together."

"It's ok lisanna. I don't blame you. It's not your fault." How could I be mad at her when she didn't know. Nobody had said anything because we were so happy to have her back. I knew it wasn't her fault. I was mad at natsu not her.

Natsu walked up to us. "I have a solution." He looked me in the eyes. For a moment he looked sad and then his features turned stern. "Lucy I'm breaking up with you. And your off team natsu." Everyone's jaw dropped. I couldn't keep the tears from falling. "I don't love you Lucy. I love lisanna. I always have."

His words hurt deep in my heart. I could feel it shatter into a million pieces. Gray and Erza looked ready to punch him. Erza walked up and slapped him in the head. Juvia was holding gray back.

I didn't know how to react. I didn't want to cry in front of everyone. "If that's what you want natsu." I said with no emotion. I turned toward the door to leave. "Bye guys I'm going home." I said placing my  right hand in the air shooting off the signature fairy tail symbol.

I left the guild and rushed to my house. When I was safely inside and alone I let all my tears out. How could you be that way natsu? What did I do to you? Why don't you love me?

I cried myself to sleep.
