It's been six months since the tenrou island incident. Master explained to us that it wasn't natsus fault. He wields the power of ancient magic. The power of feelings. It gives him the strength to keep fighting. I still blame natsu for all the pain he's caused me. We will never be friends again. I'm not going to go around looking for fights with him. I'll simply pretend he doesn't exist. Besides today is not about natsu. Today is my day. The big day as they call it. You see today I marry my best friend and love of my life. It's going to be beautiful will levy as my bridesmaid and Wendy as the flower girl. Gray asked Erza to be his "best man" and she shockingly broke into tears and agreed. Everything will be beautiful.
I woke in my apartment to the sun in my eyes and the birds chirping. My best friend levy asleep on the couch snoring peacefully. We agreed she would spend the night so we could spend the day getting ready. The wedding isn't until two this evening but hey a girls gotta look good on her big day right. I went to the couch and lightly shook the tiny bluenette sleeping. "Levy-chan. Wake up levy-chan." I said poking her cheek. "Mmm" She moaned as she opened her eyes and stretched. She looked around and a huge grin spread across her face. "You ready for your big day lu-chan?" She asked jumping from the couch and hugging me.
"Of course I am." I reply with a giggle hugging her back. "I'm really nervous though. I mean who would have ever thought that me and gray would get MARRIED!" I almost screamed the last word to the heavens. A blush crept to my face at the thought of seeing gray in a tux. He could hardly keep his clothes on as it was. Hopefully he could keep his stripping habit under control for a couple hours.
Me and levy went to work on beautifying myself. First she did my hair. It was in a simple ponytail with my hair falling down my face on either side. My black and white hair glowing in the light. She applied light makeup making my blue eyes sparkle. I slipped my strapless wedding dress on and pulled on my gloves. I placed silver high heels on my feet. The finishing touch of a crown upon my head. I grabbed my bouquet and we headed for the guild.
Levy entered before me to make sure everything was ready. The wedding would take place in the field behind the fairy tail guild. Master Makarov graciously accepted my offer of walking me down the aisle since I had nothing to do with my father. I hadn't even told him I was getting married. Master would also be the one to wed gray and I.
I was so excited and nervous that my whole body was shaking. Suddenly the door opened and Levy walked out. "Lu-chan?" She said. "We're ready for you." She slipped back inside. Everyone was already in the field waiting. I was to meet master by the back door. He was talking to Mira as I walked up behind them.
Mira's face lit up like the heavens when she saw me. "Oh wow Lucy!" She exclaimed. "You look absolutely stunning!" "Thank you Mira-chan." I said with a slight curtesy. I looked to master who looked ready to cry. Mira walked out the back door to take her seat by lisanna and Elfman. I placed my hand on masters arm and we walked out the door.
