Leaving the guild.

Me and gray arrived at my apartment. I asked if he would like to come in and he agreed. That's were we are now. Sitting in my living room like total weirdos. "Would you like something to eat or drink?" I asked not knowing what else to do. "Uh yea sure that would be great. I'll just take water. I am hungry but I don't want to bother you." He said shyly.

"Oh it's no bother at all. Unfortunately I only have ramen noodles cause natsu happy ate all my food." I said with a sad smile at the memory.

Flashback.
Natsu and happy were in my kitchen when I exited the bathroom. The fridge was wide open and all the food I just bought was already gone. I was so mad but natsu gave me those puppy dog eyes and I caved. "Come on Luce we'll go on a job and you can have all the reward ok." He said to me. "Fine I guess." I gave in.

End flashback.

I turned to look at gray. "So ramen?" I ask with a smile. "Sounds great." He said following me to the kitchen. I grabbed a pot and started boiling my water. While I waited for it to boil I started chopping veggies. About 15 minutes later I placed two bowls of ramen and two glasses of water on the table.

"Wow this looks amazing." Gray said with a huge smile. "How did you learn to cook this good?" He asked digging in. "Well when mom died dad started ignoring me." I began. "I had people who cooked for me but their wasn't any other kids around so I had no one to play with. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen and garden learning what I could." I said.

"I'm really sorry about your mom Luce. I'm sure it was really hard for you. You and your mom were close right?" He asked softly. "Yeah she was my best friend. We did everything together. When she died my whole world changed." I said quietly remembering times with my mom.

"I'm sure it was harder for you than me though." I said. "Losing both your mom and dad in front of you. That would be hard on anyone. But because of what we've been through we're the people we are today." I said fondly.

We finished eating and I noticed it was pretty late. 10:45pm. "Well I guess I should be going." Gray said. "It's getting pretty late. See you at the guild tomorrow?" He asked. "Of course! Thanks for walking me home by the way." "Anytime." He said. Before he left he kissed me on the cheek.

We both blushed crimson and he left. I shut the door and slid down it placing my knees to my chest. The hell was that? I thought to myself. I was tired so I decided to just go to bed.

The next morning I woke up and took a shower. I decided to wear a simple outfit. I put on a white tank top with black shorts and knee high boots. I grabbed my whip and keys and headed for the guild.

Today has to be a good day right?" I asked myself. I kicked open the doors and entered the guild. "Good morning mina!" I yelled as I entered. "Good morning Lucy!" Everyone greeted. I looked around and noticed natsu and lisanna weren't there. "Hey Mira." I said sitting down. She handed me a chocolate milkshake and I thanked her. "We're Happy and natsu?" I asked.

She continued to wipe the glass she was cleaning before she spoke. "They went on a mission. Since team natsu is broken up they formed a team together." She informed me with a sad smile. "Wait What happened to team natsu?" I ask. "I thought I was the only one kicked off?"

"Well Gray came in this morning and told natsu if you wasn't on the team he wasn't either. Erza said there wasn't any point in a two man team." She told me with a giggle. "I think gray likes you Lucy." She said with a knowing smile.

"What no way." I said trying to avoid the subject. I couldn't help the small blush creeping to my cheeks. "Well I wouldn't be surprised." Mira said. "Since juvia and Lyon are together now he has plenty of options right?"
