Sclass trials

The next day gray and I walked into the guild. Master told us all to gather for the rules. As soon as we walked in we heard natsu yelling.

"I can't believe gramps made that bitch a runner up in the trials! What was he thinking?" Erza Mira and Levy glared at him. "Your just mad she kicked your butt." Erza said with a smirk. Everyone but natsu and lisanna laughed. "Afraid to lose to a girl?" Levy asked laughing.

Natsus face turned red in anger. "I can beat her any time anywhere!" He yelled. "I'm fired up now!" He slammed his fist on the table. "Listen up brats. I'm about to announce the rules." The master said getting everyone's attention.

"This year the s class trials will take place on tenrou island. The fairy tail sacred ground and grave of the first master! Mavis vermilion!" He said raising his hands in the air. Everyone cheered. Erza Mira and gildarts were on the stage beside him.

"Your strengths. Your hearts. Your spirits. Will all be tested in this trial." Master said looking around. "You have two weeks for training. Pick one partner to join you! Your dismissed." Everyone went back to what they were doing.

Levy and gajeel teamed up. Natsu and lisanna joined together. Fried and bickslow joined together. Elfman and evergreen joined a team. I wasn't sure who to ask at first until I saw gray leaning on the wall. I walked up to him.

"Hey gray!" I said waving. "You wanna be my partner?" I asked throwing my arm around his shoulder. "Of course!" He said. "Who else would you choose to kick that pyros ass?" He laughed.

We spent the next two weeks training. We met the rest of the teams at the docks in hargeon to take us to tenrou island. It was so hot we all changed into swimming clothes. Grays stripping habit came into play as he stripped all his clothes.

"Umm....gray?" I said avoiding looking at him. "You know your stark naked right?" He looked down and jumped a foot in the air. He rushed around finding his trunks. He sat back down blushing. "Oh come on gray it's not like we haven't seen you naked before." Natsu said between throwing up.

"Screw you ashmouth!" He Yelled. I saw him looking at me out of the corner of my eye and I couldn't help but blush. A small smile creeping onto my lips. I was slightly tired so I sat down beside gray. I placed my head on his shoulder and soon fell asleep.

I woke up to gray lightly shaking me. "Luce. Time to get up." He said looking into my eyes. I woke up and looked around. We had made it to tenrou island. Master was standing at the top of the boat waiting to gather our attention.

"All right. You will race to the island. On the island there will be 5 entrances. Through these there will be fights. You must beat your opponent to pass through to the next round. Begin!" Everyone jumped into action. Fried put up an enchantment so nobody but him and Bixlow could get through.

Me and gray smirked at each other. We had practiced this just in case we fought someone like fried. Evergreen quickly went to work dispelling the enchantment for her and Elfman. Levy dispelled it for her and gajeel. Natsu and lisanna were screaming about how unfair it was they had to wait 5 minutes.

"Let's do this!" I said looking at gray. I quickly dispelled the enchantment and we jumped into the water. When we made it to shore there was only two caves left. One had an e above it. "Let's take that one." I said walking into it.

"Why this one?" Gray asked. "Because, natsus an idiot so he'll choose this one thinking Erza is in here." I said with a smirk. Gray laughed. "Knowing that idiot your probably right." We leaned up against the wall and waited.

A few minutes passed and I noticed we were standing really close together. I didn't mind though. I was used to the chill gray gave off so it didn't bother me at all. Actually his body temperature was warmer than you would think an ice mage would be.
