See Who I Am by Within Temptation

Eileen had managed to climb the rock without stumbling though her legs were not obeying, her small body all trembled and the tears came down in abundance, feeling the Seer's soft hands support the creature in disconsolation. It was too much information for her to absorb, and as hard as she struggled not to hear, the damn voice of reason buzzed in her ear poisonous words, "silly little girl" between loud laughter. The Seer was sitting on the woman's bed while he listened to everything she had turned out to be remembering what had happened to the younger Ragnarsson.

"He would not have the courage to tell so I did for him" Ivar's voice still echoed in her head "Was it all a lie, Ivar?" Eileen sought the strength to talk without shouting or crying "So why did he have all this work be kind to me?"  her voice was tearful, leaving Ivar with a regret in his chest "In treating me well. Ivar, why?", her hands trembled and her heart wanted to stop beating. "I can not answer for my brother, Eileen, but I know he cares for you", Ivar tried to console. "I just do not want you to if it hurts in the middle of it, it's all too dangerous, so I guess it's safer for you to know what the real purpose of the looting is to come". The Boneless tried to keep his voice serious, although he was sorry had told her when he saw the world of the sweet woman collapse into those colored eyes. And she knew it wasn't working, everything was so broken in her heart that she didn't even know where to start putting his pieces together.

All she wanted was to run into Ubbe's strong arms and thrust her face into his chest, even with her mind screaming to get out of Kattegat. The fascination she felt for the wolf was too strong for the woman to fight and win, Eileen was in a mess of feelings and for the first time she wanted to get away from it.

"Great, another fucking snowy day"  thought Ubbe as he let the ruthless cold through the open wooden windows of his room. Kattegat was being severely punished by a snowfall for days, which meant no work in the forger house and that would result in a shaken Ubbe, almost unbearable to put up with. Already the villagers, forced to cease the routine buzz in sales to seek shelter in their homes, were well received by the heat of the logs that burned in flames inside each one.
